Marilyn: The Untold Story is a 1980 television movie, about the life of the 1950s sex symbol-movie star, Marilyn Monroe. The feature stars Catherine Hicks as Monroe; Richard Basehart as her early-career agent Johnny Hyde; Frank Converse as her second husband Joe DiMaggio; Jason Miller as her third husband Arthur Miller; Kevin Geer as her first husband James Dougherty; Viveca Lindfors as her acting coach Natasha Lytess; and Sheree North as her mother Gladys Baker. The movie premiered in late-1980, and was greeted with positive reviews. Catherine Hicks was praised by the critics for her portrayal of Monroe, as were others including Richard Basehart, Frank Converse, Sheree North and Jason Miller, playing fellow playwright Arthur Miller.

The Guy Mitchell Show is a short-lived half-hour television variety program hosted by and starring 30-year-old recording artist Guy Mitchell, which was broadcast from October 7, 1957, to January 13, 1958. The series aired on Monday evenings at 8 p.m. Eastern time on ABC following a half-hour prime time version of American Bandstand. The Guy Mitchell Show faced strong competition from The Burns and Allen Show, a situation comedy on CBS starring George Burns and Gracie Allen, and from John Payne's NBC Western, The Restless Gun. Mitchell’s guest stars, performing songs, dances, or skits, included dancer and pianist Johnny Bach, Jack Carson, Mindy Carson, Gloria DeHaven, Sam Cooke, Chuck Berry, Peggy Lee, Margaret Whiting, Dolores Hawkins, The Four Step Brothers, and baseball pitcher Jerome “Dizzy” Dean. Berry sings his hit song, "Rock and Roll Music" in the episode which aired on December 16, 1957.

On Your Way is an American game show that aired on the DuMont Television Network from September 9, 1953 to January 20, 1954 before moving to ABC from January 23 to April 17. The series originated from New York City, and was sponsored by Welch's Family Wine.

Dynasty: The Making of a Guilty Pleasure is a 2005 American television movie based on the creation and behind the scenes production of the 1980s prime time soap opera Dynasty. It was broadcast on ABC on 2 January 2005.

Yours for a Song is an American game show, created by Bob Russell, that aired on ABC from 1961-1963 with Bert Parks as host and Johnny Gilbert as announcer. The series, which filmed in New York City, aired in primetime from November 14, 1961 to September 18, 1962 and in daytime from December 4, 1961 to March 29, 1963.

The Dotty Mack Show is an American variety show originally broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network in 1953, and on ABC from 1953 to 1956.

Howard K. Smith: News and Comment was a half-hour ABC news and documentary program hosted by commentator Howard K. Smith, which aired from February 14, 1962, to June 16, 1963. It was broadcast at the 10:30 Eastern time slot on Sundays opposite CBS's long-running quiz show, What's My Line?, hosted by John Charles Daly, himself the first ever ABC News anchorman. In 1961, Smith left CBS News because of a dispute about a documentary that he produced on police violence against civil rights demonstrators in Birmingham, Alabama. He then joined ABC, where his contract stipulated that neither the network nor sponsors could interfere with the content of his program. While at CBS, Smith hosted the documentary program Behind the News with Howard K. Smith for twenty-one weeks from January 11 to September 20, 1959. Selected episodes focused on communism in Cuba, the status of Berlin, the Cold War, Charles de Gaulle, Nikita Khrushchev, unemployment in depressed areas, and the St. Lawrence Seaway. Smith's News and Comment began early in 1962. On November 11, five days after mid-term elections were held on November 6, Smith broadcast a program entitled "The Political Obituary of Richard M. Nixon", which proved highly controversial as well as premature. He included an interview with Nixon nemesis Alger Hiss, the Cold War convicted perjurer from Massachusetts, as well as remarks from Nixon loyalist Murray Chotiner. Some said that Smith's program in the long-run benefited Nixon's six-year political comeback because there was a backlash of sympathy caused by Hiss's appearance.

Talent Varieties is a country music talent show on American network television and radio in 1955 that featured performers hoping to achieve fame in the entertainment business. The weekly ABC-TV program was a live half-hour summer replacement series hosted by Slim Wilson. Wilson introduced the amateur and professional talent, including music and comedy acts; and his Tall Timber Trio, composed of Speedy Haworth, Bob White and Bryan "Doc" Martin provided accompaniment. Auditions were handled by Bill Ring. The Westport Kids appeared July 12, and Buck Griffin appeared August 2. The show aired on Tuesday nights from June 28–November 1. Its original time slot was 7:30–8 p.m. Eastern Time, replacing Cavalcade of America, but moved to 10–10:30 p.m. in September to briefly replace Break the Bank. ABC Radio simulcast the program under the name Talent Round-Up from 7:30 p.m., as well as carrying an additional half-hour until 8:30. The program originated from the Jewell Theatre in Springfield, Missouri, home to ABC's Ozark Jubilee; and was produced and directed by the Jubilee's Bryan Bisney, who took over from Ring in September.

FYI was an information series seen on the ABC network in the early 1980s. Hosted by Hal Linden, the program features answers to questions that many viewers ask, from common questions such as, "What's the leading cause of burns in children?", to questions not many ask, but may be interesting to know, like "Can a child dance his/her way to better grades?", just to name a couple. With each show lasting sixty seconds, FYI was seen three times a day on weekdays, following ABC's popular soaps All My Children, One Life to Live and General Hospital, using a formula not unlike ABC's Saturday morning mini-programs, such as Time for Timer, The Bod Squad and Schoolhouse Rock. Two books based on the television series have been published, both by M. Evans and Company: FYI: Unexpected Answers to Everyday Questions and More FYI: Further Tips for Healthful Living.

NBA Countdown, is a weekly, thirty minute pregame show airing prior to each National Basketball Association telecast on the American Broadcasting Company. NBA Countdown typically airs each Sunday at 12:30 p.m, with the exception of some markets pre-empted for paid programming, or some Sundays when it airs at 2:00 or 3:00 p.m, and the NBA Finals, when it airs at 8:30 p.m. In 2006, the first and so far only one-hour edition of the pregame show aired, prior to Game 1 of the 2006 NBA Finals.

Set For Life is an American game show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel. It premiered on Friday, July 20, 2007 at 8:00 PM Eastern on ABC, and ran until August 31 in that time slot. ABC never officially announced the show's cancellation, but there has been no official word on the return of the show. The game is based on the British version, For The Rest Of Your Life.

Family Man is an American sitcom which aired on ABC from March 18, 1988 until April 29, 1988. It starred Richard Libertini as a middle-aged comedy writer married to a much younger wife, and focused on the trials and tribulations he faced raising two stepchildren and one biological child. The series was created by Earl Pomerantz.

Expedition! is an American travel documentary television series that was broadcast in the United States on ABC Tuesday nights in the 1960-61 television season and Monday nights in the 1961-62 television season.

Fat March is an American reality television series on the ABC network, based on the U.K. Channel Four series Too Big To Walk. It premiered on August 6, 2007 and ended on September 10, 2007. The show had received mixed reactions from fitness experts.
