Mara, a teenage girl goes through a traumatic experience but with the help of her two sisters, she seeks revenge.

Tirana’s second biggest stadium is a socialist relic past its prime that has failed to keep up with the surrounding world. It rests in a state of limbo, silent and timeless. Built with over a million point clouds after scanning the entire stadium, this posthumanist film-poem is the result of a first contact with the perennial wildflowers that had sprouted in the abandoned fields of the stadium.

Based on a real story that took place in Shkodër, a German captain who returns to Albania and is given his clock back from a local watchmaker (sahatçi) after 30 years. The film takes place in modern days, where an Austrian boy (Anton) goes after an Albanian student (Teuta) to Albania after being refused by her to spend the holidays together. The boy is supported by his grandfather, who gives him an envelope to read only after arriving in Albania.

The ice cold Poshnja is a rarely-screened, forbidden film (it is not even listed on the Albanian archive website) and the sole directing effort of Albania’s leading film scholar, Abaz Hoxha.

Shot in the Kosovar village of Nevokaze, it depicts the traditional lifestyle of an Albanian family numbering 117 members, all living under one roof and in great harmony. One of the finest examples of ethnographic film to come from this region, it has been called a ‘spiritual portrait of the nation’.

Sala didn’t paint the Tirana facades in Dammi i Colori (Give Me the Colors), in his current show. Others did, as part of an ongoing project initiated by Edi Rama, the city’s mayor and a former artist.

Two former school friends, Fredi and Spiro, meet by chance. Fredi works in a remote village, while Spiro has built a successful career in the city. Spiro, now a high-ranking official, finds himself drawn to the beauty of Ana, Fredi’s wife. Suddenly, Ana is confronted with an unfamiliar side of her husband’s character. In pursuit of the career opportunity Spiro offers, Fredi fails to realize that his old friend is asking in return for something very sacred to Ana.
