The story follows Hoschimeg, a student who returns from her studies in the big city to teach kindergarten at the "Urts" ger garden in the Khuvsgul aimag in Western Taiga during her summer vacation. Through her journey we see the lives and livelihoods of the nomadic reindeer herders, the Tsaatan people.
