تدور أحداث الفيلم حول قيام وريث بدعوة شاب وأصدقائه إلى منتجع مهجور، في تلال فرجينيا، لكن هذا المنتجع مسكون بعدد من آكلي لحوم البشر، فما الذي سيحدث لهم؟.

بينما (جيف تايلور) بصحبة زوجته في سيارتهما في رحلة بالسيارة عبر البلاد، يتوقفان عند محطة وقود، وتحدث بينه وبين أحد الأشخاص بعض العبارات العدائية، بعدها يسير في طريقه ليتعرض لحادثة قوية فتدفن زوجته بين أنقاض السيارة، ويحاول إنقاذها بشتى الطرق، عندما يريد طلب المساعدة باللاسلكى يجد أن بطاريات اللاسلكى تم العبث بها بشكل مريب، ويبدو أن الأمر، ليس مجرد حادثة عارضة.

تدور الاحداث في عالم شديد السوداوية حيث يسعى مُصارع محترف لسداد ديونه في محاولة يائسة لإنقاذ منزل عائلته من الضياع !

Jeff Foxworthy is a hardworking husband and father. Between paying his mortgage, running his heating and air company business and raising his precocious son, he learns what every self-respecting redneck knows: tractor pulls come and go, but family is forever!

Jeff, Bill and Larry are old pals who work together at Barton Bounty Hunters in the small Southern town of Skeeter Creek. They get their bounties from Lisa, a loudmouth bail bondsman whose office is next door. Jeff is the owner of the company and leader of the team. Bill is the resident criminal profiler, and Larry is the team muscle. Together, they track down redneck fugitives, making Skeeter Creek a little bit safer. The guys will have to deal with friends and family like Jeff's sassy ex-wife Stacy and her smarmy new husband Nathan, as well as local rednecks like Jesco (who just so happens to be Jeff's dad).
