بعد الموت، تأتي نقطة التقاطع حيث على كلّ فرد أن يقرر كيف سيمضي الأبدية. بالنسبة إلى "جون"، هذا يعني أن عليها أن تختار بين "لاري"، زوجها منذ وقت طويل، وبين "لوك"، حبها الأول الذي مات بعد فترة قصيرة من زواجهما.
