يحكي الفيلم عن إحدى مستعمرات النمل التي يسيطر عليها عصابة من الجراد الشرير والتي تفرض على المستعمرة جمع الحبوب لصالحها مما يفرض على النمل عبئا إضافيا لجمع الحبوب للجراد ثم لنفسه قبل حلول موسم المطر الذي يلزمون فيه المستعمرة. إلا أن "فليك" النملة الذكية وبطل الفيلم يقرر الرحيل عن المستعمرة والذهاب إلى مدينة مجاورة من أجل الاستعانة بحشرات مقاتلين لمعاونة قومه على نبذ سيطرة الجراد عليهم. ويوافق حكماء النمل على رحيل "فليك" من أجل التخلص من متاعبه التي يسببها دائما بواسطة أختراعاته

كوميديا مرعبة، تروي قصة شخصين نجحا فى البقاء أحياء بين مجموعة من الموتى الأحياء (الزومبي)، وطريقتهم الفريدة للبقاء بين تلك الأجواء بمساعدة بعض السحرة وباستخدام بعض الأعيرة النارية.
استكمالا للجزئين الاول والثاني يظل كل من الأسد الكس و الحمآر الوحشي مارتي و فرس النهر جلوريا والزرآفة ميلمان في محاولة مستمرة للعودة إلى وطنهم ولكن تلك المرة رحلتهم عبر أوروبا حيث الكثير من المتع التي يتخيلون معها كأنهم بوطنهم مدغشقر.
طوال حياته، كان إدوارد بلوم رجلاً ذو شغف جارف وشهية جامحة وحكايا مبالغ فيها. في سنواته الأخيرة، لا يزال لغزاً كبيراً بالنسبة لابنه ويليام. الآن، كي يتعرّف على الرجل الحقيقي، يبدأ ويليام بجمع صورة حقيقية عن والده من استرجاعات مغامراته المذهلة.
يقوم طائر اللقلق بتسليم فيل وليد إلى السيدة الفيلة (جمبو)؛ المخضرمة في ألعاب السيرك وتتمنى الأمومة. لكن يتعرض الوليد إلى سخرية الجميع بسبب آذانه هائلة الحجم، ثم يُطلَق عليه اسم (دامبو).. بعد فصل دامبو عن والدته، يتم إلحاقه بألعاب مهرجين السيرك الخطيرة، فيصبح الأمر متروكًا لصديقه الفأر حتى يساعده على وضعه المعقد ويعاونه على اكتشاف كامل إمكاناته.
