في المستقبل القريب، يمثل محقق أمام المحكمة بتهمة قتل زوجته. أمامه 90 دقيقة لإثبات براءته أمام قاضي الذكاء الاصطناعي المتطور الذي كان يدافع عنه بشدة، قبل أن يحدد مصيره.

يحكي الفيلم عن الأخ الأكبر (ديريك) ذو النزعات العدوانية الشديدة تجاه من هم غير أمريكيين من المهاجرين وبالخصوص أصحاب البشرة السوداء، وصراعه الدائم معهم إلى أن ينتهي به الحال في السجن بعد جريمةِ بشعة قام بها تجاه أحدهم والتغير الجذري ﻷفكاره داخل السجن.

يعود "بيغ نيك" للمطاردة في أوروبا ويقترب من "دوني" الذي يتورط في عالم لصوص الألماس الغادر والمتقلب الذي لا يمكن التنبؤ به ومافيا الفهود سيئة السمعة، حيث يخططون لعملية سرقة ضخمة لأكبر بورصة ألماس في العالم.

بعد أن أمضى نايت (إيغرتون) أعواماً في السجن، اكتسب أعداءً خطرين، من بينهم عصابة إجرامية قوية كان يعمل لصالحها داخل السجن. وفي محاولة يائسة لبدء حياة جديدة، قطع نايت علاقته بعصابته القديمة عند إطلاق سراحه، لكن العصابة ردّت عليه بالسعي لقتل عائلته. فأخذ نايت بولي، وهي ابنته الخجولة ذات العشر سنوات التي بالكاد يعرفها، وهرب لحمايتها من الأذى.
