انقضت ثلاثة عقود على تسرب فيروس "آر في" من مختبر للأسلحة البيولوجية، ولا يزال الحجر الصارم يخنق العالم، والمصابون يعيثون فيه دمارًا. في جزيرة نائية لا تصلها اليابسة إلا عبر ممر واحد محصن، تحاول مجموعة من الناجين التشبث بالحياة. وحين يخرج أحدهم في مهمة إلى قلب اليابسة، يصطدم بأسرار وهول لم يترك أثره على المصابين فحسب، بل بدّل ملامح من نجا أيضًا.

مرت ما يقرب من 10 سنوات منذ أن تم استهداف سارة كونور من قبل سايبورغ من المستقبل. الآن ابنها ، جون ، القائد المستقبلي للمقاومة ، هو هدف لمنهي جديد أكثر فتكًا. مرة أخرى ، تمكنت المقاومة من إعادة حاميها في محاولة لإنقاذ جون ووالدته سارة.

يستيقظ توماس (ديلان أوبراين) ليجد نفسه داخل مصعد غريب ومصاب بفقدان للذاكرة؛ حيث إنه لا يستطيع تذكر اسمه أو عائلته أو منزله. عندما يتم فتح باب المصعد يجد توماس نفسه محاطًا بمجموعة من الصبية يرحبون به في مكانه الجديد في (جلايد). يجد توماس أن جلايد محاطة بجدران ضخمة من الحجارة، والصبية الذين معه لا يعلمون أيضًا كيف أتوا إلى جلايد؟ ولكنهم يعلمون أن وراء تلك الحجارة متاهة غريبة لا يعلم حلها أي صبي، رغم ذلك يعلم الصبية أنهم إذا حلوا تلك المتاهة سيعودون إلى منازلهم.

في أقصى أطراف الأرض، وسط صحراء قاحلة وعالم ممزق، يقاتل الجميع بجنون من أجل البقاء. في قلب الفوضى، يهرب متمردان... وقد يكون بيدهما أمل استعادة النظام.

يتحدث الفيلم عن رجل يستيقظ من غيبوبة دخلها منذ فترة طويلة, فبعد استيقاظه يرى نفسه في مستشفى ولا يجد أحداً آخر غيره ليضطر الخروج فيرى بأن المدينة كلها مهجورة وقدحلت بها فوضى عارمة في كل شيء بسبب انتشار وباء جيني قد حوّل البشر إلى “زومبي” وكيف ينجو فئة منهم ممن تحول من الباقين. الفيلم من إخراج المخرج البريطاني المميز داني بويل, على الرغم من أن الفيلم يتكلم عن انتشار الزومبي وهو مايراه البعض مكرره ومبتذل واستهلك في كثير من الأفلام السابقة, إلا أن فيلم “بعد 8 يوم” يعد واحد من أبرز أفلام الرعب والزومبي تحديداً في الفترة الماضية على وجه الخصوص , فبالنظر لما قدمه داني بويل في عمله هذا فإنه استطاع صنع فيلم رعب وإثارة مميز جداً في خلق الأجواء الممتعة والجذابة وحتى الابتكار في بعض القواعد التي وضعت لمثل أفلام الزومبي هذه

مع سقوط العالم، يتم اختطاف فيوريوسا الصغيرة وتقع في أيدي حشد كبير من راكبي الدراجات النارية بقيادة أمير الحرب ديمنتوس. ويجب على فيوريوسا أن تنجو من العديد من المصاعب وأن تجد طريقها إلى المنزل.

تُجبر عائلة على العيش في صمت مختبئة من مخلوقات تصطاد بالصوت.

يرصد فيلم ( ألعاب الجوع: الطائر المحاكي - الجزء الأول) حياة كاتنيس إيفردين (جينيفر لورانس) حيث إنها على مضض ورغماً عنها أصبحت رمزًا لمنطقة بانيم وأيقونة للتمرد على الظلم والطغيان والاستبداد. تقود كاتنيس المتمردين والثوار في حرب حياة أو موت لتحدد مصير بانيم إلى الأبد. تتصاعد الأحداث ويمتد العنف لجميع المناطق. تجد كاتنيس نفسها في صراع داخلي جسيم حيث يتعين عليها تحديد من بإمكانها الوثوق به ومن لا يستحق ثقتها وعليها اتخاذ العديد من القرارات المصيرية.

عام 2035. بعد بلاء الفيروس الذي يدمر الأرض ويقتل الملايين من الناس ، يلجأ الناجون إلى مجتمعات تحت الأرض ، رطبة وباردة. يتطوع السجين جيمس كول للسفر إلى الماضي والحصول على عينة من الفيروس ، وبفضله سيتمكن العلماء من تطوير علاج. خلال الرحلة يلتقي بطبيبة نفسية جميلة ومريض نفسي استثنائي. سيحاول كول العثور على "جيش القرود الاثني عشر" ، وهي مجموعة متطرفة مرتبطة بالمرض.

بعد عدة أجيال من حكم قيصر، أصبحت القرود الآن الجنس المهيمن وتعيش بسلام بينما تم تقليص البشر للعيش في الظل. مع قيام زعيم قرد طاغية جديد ببناء إمبراطوريته، ينطلق قرد شاب في رحلة شاقة ستجعله يشكك في كل ما يعرفه عن الماضي ويتخذ قرارات ستحدد مستقبل القرود والبشر على حد سواء.

مع تطور البشرية، والحياة على كوكب الأرض، يقف جاك هارير (توم كروز) دون غيره في مواجهة مع الماضي، حيث تبدأ مغامرته أثناء محاولته استخراج بعض المواد الحيوية من الأرض بعد انتهاء الحروب المدمرة التي قادها كائنات السكاف. ومع بشارة الانتهاء من مهمته يفاجأ بضرورة إنقاذه امرأة غريبة داخل سفينة فضائية محطمة، وتقع العديد من الأحداث الغريبة التي يجد نفسه من خلالها مسئول مسئولية كاملة عن مصير البشرية وإنقاذها.

فرصة أخيرة للسلام. تكافح مجموعة من العلماء في سان فرانسيسكو للبقاء على قيد الحياة في أعقاب الطاعون الذي يقضي على البشرية ، بينما يحاول قيصر الحفاظ على هيمنته على مجتمعه من القردة الذكية.

تدور احداث الفيلم بعد نهاية العالم، تحاول امرأة شابّة وأصدقاؤها المتمرّدون إيقاف مدينة "لندن" العملاقة المتحرّكة من التهام كلّ ما تقابله في طريقها.

تدور أحدث العمل في إطار من الخيال العلمي والكوميديا، حيث تنطلق مجموعة من صائدي الكنوز بعد نهاية العالم بحثًا عن ما تبقى من الآثار القديمة على الأرض.
