في وادي السلام، يجد (بو) الباندا نفسه قد اختير كمحارب التنين على الرغم من حقيقة أنه يعاني من السمنة والخمول، وكونه مبتدئ في فنون الدفاع عن النفس، ويحاول أن يثبت جدارته بهذا الاختيار أمام المعلم (شيفو) والغاضبين الخمسة.

بينما يزور "بو" ووالده قرية سرّية للباندا، تهدد روح شريرة بلاد "الصين" بكاملها وتدفع "بو" إلى تشكيل جيش غير منظم للمقاومة والقتال.

يعيش بو الآن حلمه كمحارب التنين ، ويحمي وادي السلام جنبا إلى جنب مع أصدقائه وزملائه أساتذة الكونغ فو ، الخمسة الغاضبون - النمره و كركي و السرعوف و الافعي و القرد . لكن حياة بو الجديدة من الذهول مهددة بظهور شرير هائل ، يخطط لاستخدام سلاح سري لا يمكن إيقافه لغزو الصين وتدمير الكونغ فو. الأمر متروك لبو والخمسة الغاضبون للسفر عبر الصين لمواجهة هذا التهديد وقهره. ولكن كيف يمكن لبو أن يوقف سلاحا يمكنه إيقاف الكونغ فو؟ يجب أن ينظر إلى ماضيه ويكشف أسرار أصوله الغامضة. عندها فقط سيكون قادرا على إطلاق العنان للقوة التي يحتاجها للنجاح.

تدور احداث الفيلم حين يتم دعوة نجم الكونغ فو الشهير (جاكي شان) لتبني باندا تدعى (هوهو) من حديقة الحيوانات، ولكن عصابة إجرامية تضع مكافأة كبيرة لمن يخطف (هوهو)، مما يجعل (جاكي) يتعاون مع وكيله وحارس الباندا لحمايتها ومواجهة العصابة في مغامرة شاقة.

تم تكليفه بتدريس دروس فنون قتالية لقطط الأرانب الصغيرة المشاغبة، ويحكي بو قصصًا عن ماضي كل من الخمسة الغاضبين.

تدور أحداث الفيلم في (سان دييجو) 1970؛ حيث كانت وسائل الإعلام شيئاً مهما للغاية، ويؤخذ كل ما يصدر عنها مأخذ الجد والاهتمام، وكان هناك مذيع يدعى (رون بيرجوندي) يتمتع بمصداقية كبيرة لدى الجمهور، كما يتمتع بشعبية واسعة، كذلك طاقم عمله. لكن ذلك يصبح على وشك التغيير، عندما تقرر القناة التلفزيونية التي يعمل لحسابها بيرجوندي تعيين مذيعة جميلة تدعى (فيرونيكا). تشتد المنافسة بين حزب فيرونيكا وحزب بيرجوندي.

يمر عام على مغامرة ميك ميك وأوسكار المذهلة، ولكن يعود الثنائي في مغامرة جديدة لإنقاذ الشبل جريزلي وإعاته لوالديه، حينما يسعى فالتشر لتنفيذ خطة شريرة.

David Tennant narrates the story of giant pandas Tian Tian and Yang Guang, who arrived in the UK in December 2011 to be resettled in Edinburgh Zoo for the next decade. The program also follows the zoo's vet and head keeper as they travel to China to see how giant pandas are cared for in their homeland, and head keeper Alison visits a remote panda reserve in Wolong to witness the efforts to reintroduce the creatures back into the wild.

After losing her corporate job, 27-year-old Liu Liu takes a three-month stint as a new media specialist at a giant panda reserve. Initially planning to take it easy, she faces unexpected workplace challenges under the stern researcher Xie Daoyun. Surrounded by the healing charm of the adorable panda Bao Bao, the two gradually turn from reluctant colleagues into a strong partnership, and Liu Liu learns that life can bloom with joy in the most unexpected places.

Nigel heads to China to learn about giant pandas for his latest adventure. He visits the beautiful reserves the pandas inhabit, before heading into the wild to achieve his ambition of being the first presenter to be filmed with a giant panda in its native habitat. He is also astonished to witness a brown panda cub, one of only five known to science. Along his journey Nigel meets the other amazing creatures that live in the bamboo forest, including naughty macaques, golden snub-nosed monkeys and fluffy bamboo rats. He also feeds adorable red pandas, distant relatives of the giant panda.
