Nakon pojave Batmana, Gotham je s vremenom postao grad s manjom stopom kriminala. Kriminalci ga se boje i njihovo djelovanje svedeno je na minimum. No, bitka još uvijek nije gotova, "jer noć je najmračnija pred zoru". Da bi jednom zauvijek sredio mafiju Gotham Cityja, Batman se udruži s nadobudnim mladim tužiteljem Harveyem Dentom i policijskim narednikom Jamesom Gordonom kako bi zajedničkim snagama jednom zauvijek očistili ulice Gothama od kriminala i nasilja. Trojac uspije dovesti mafiju pred sam rub sloma, no tada se pojavi novo lice u gradu, kriminalac nove klase - Joker. U početku Joker im se učini kao još jedan luđak u nizu, kao nikakva velika prijetnja. Ali s vremenom Joker uspije pokoriti Gotham i natjerati Batmana na drastične poteze.

After moving into the quiet town of Hinamizawa, Maebara Keiichi spends his days blissfully in school often playing games with his local friends. However, appearances can be deceiving. One fateful day, Keiichi stumbles upon news of a murder that had occurred in Hinamizawa. From this point on, horrific events unfold in front of Keiichi, as he soon learns his close friends may not be all that they seem.
