Film “Trideset trojica” Patriše Rigen je dramatizacija stvarnog događaja iz 2010. – nesreće u Čileu kada se stotinu godina star rudnik bakra i zlata San Hoze urušio nad glavama 33 rudara, koji su ostali zarobljeni 700 metara ispod zemlje. Film pokušava da prikaže 69 dana agonije zatrpanih rudara, kao i njihovih porodica, na površini zemlje. Trideset troje rudara, za koje je nedostatak bezbjednosti redovni dio života, počinje dugo, naporno spuštanje u dubine zemlje a gledaoci znaju da im prijeti katastrofa. Poslje rušenja tunela, rudari se sklanjaju u “utočište” – prostor širok pet metara, sagrađen da smjesti 30 ljudi. Imaju zalihe hrane za tri dana.
