The movie was shot in March 2009, at which time 45% of Icelandic population were facebook users. Almost all individuals between the ages 20-30 were active users and in every café, every bus and school people were talking about it.

Sundhöll Reykjavíkur (The Reykjavík Swimming Palace), the city’s first swimming pool, was inaugurated in 1937. The building is an architectural landmark, which for decades has functioned as a cornerstone for the elderly that live in the neighbourhood, and other daily guests. A documentary about the Icelandic sculptor, Sigurjón Ólafsson. Shot between 1978-1984, the film shows Mr. Ólafsson making a portrait in clay of the late president of Iceland, Dr. Kristján Eldjárn. The proces is shown almost from the beginning until the sculpture has been moulded into bronze. The film also deals with some of Ólafsson's other work and a visit is paid to the artists's place of birth, Eyrarbakki, a small village on the south west coast of Iceland.

Fishing on board a modern stern trawler is the subject of this film. It is shot in the North Atlantic from 1979-1982, in all seasons and includes some sequences that are shot in extremely bad weather conditions in the winter of 1981. Different types of trawlers are shown and the landing of the catch in harbours in Iceland and Germany.
