What do you do with yourself when the pandemic forces you to stay within the four walls of your apartment? As a single urban individual, you establish a new routine. Waking up late, having breakfast, watching TV, drinking coffee, killing time… Every day is the same. A persistent pigeon keeps coming back to remind the author of what freedom means. In this humorous and beautifully edited short, Luka Marcetic films himself as he spends long and lonely days quarantined at his apartment and dreams of going outside.

Five young men, each without a job, spend most of their time together at a local bar seeing how much beer they can drink without paying. Occasionally outside events intrude on their easy-going lifestyle, such as searching for a missing car, and the appearance of an attractive young hairdresser and her friend.

Were history even the slightest bit fair, he wouldn't be doing that. Miha Kralj is considered the pioneer of electronic music in Slovenia and former Yugoslavia. His debut album Andromeda (1980) has achieved cult status and is still sought after by music enthusiasts all around the world. He also played in groups Prah and Dekameroni, for the latter he wrote his most famous song Sava Rustles. At last he got his own documentary.

Twinkle Sleepyhead is the youngest star in the sky. Because she constantly comes late to her work, the Moon sends her to Earth to punish her. She may return to the sky when she proves that she has learnt her lesson. Among the people she meets on Earth there is also a bandit Ceferin, who wants to steal her golden hair. Due to the Twinkle Sleepyhead's innocent goodness his heart starts to beat instead of the stone he had before. Twinkle Sleepyhead returns to the sky.

David, a young man in his early 20s, escapes the mundanity in search of something bigger. His goal is to sail around the world in a stolen boat.

Young mothers and sometimes also their daughters have vastly travelled from Vipavska valley to Egypt in 20th century. Their families were poor and needed money. So they went to Alexandria and worked as wet nurses and helpers for wealthier people. They often left their own kids alone with their fathers, only taking care for them with gifts and money. Many never returned and even if they did, they were not well accepted.

This video dance project is a sort of condensed poetical and cynical look on the situation in the ex-Yugoslav territory. Hysterical and hectic dance movements are put in juxtaposition with surrealistic artificially constructed imageries, based on Magritte's paintings and documentary shoots of the refugee camps, where Bosnian refugees lived in Ljubljana.

A young mother wants to pass on the Carinthian-Slovenian minority language to her daughter in Graz, Austria. Over twenty years ago, a father failed precisely to do that, hence language plays a role in the relationship with his son. A rapper with Carinthian and American roots shows how he overcomes minority identities, whereas a theater professional calls on politicians to finally give space to the Slovene language, culture & identity in Austria. Still Koroška is a short documentary about the many ways of being Carinthian-Slovenian, about the loss of language and the desire not to lose it amongst linguistic minorities.

Marko lives a quiet life with his mother Tina and younger sister Nina. In addition to studying medicine, he works as a paramedic and is on duty at the medical center most of the time. When it seems that another night shift will pass without events, a car with a wounded person is brought to the entrance towards the end of the working day. Marko takes care of the wounded man together with his girlfriend Nataša to the best of his ability. Despite severe pressure, they succeed.

A Slovenian filmmaker-botanist and a Japanese neuroscientist join forces to study an unusual agricultural document from the mid-20th century. The manuscript describes the case of a pear tree from a small village on the Yugoslav-Italian border, which was believed to be holding miraculous power to defy time.
