The film reveals the inner conflict between freedom and sacrifice. Gradually, walls that connect and confine us across generations emerge, shaping who we are to ourselves and to one another.
The documentary follows seven stories from the set of deadly sins and virtues. The concepts have been interpreted through the ambiguity, associations and meanings triggered by various social contexts. Using phenomena from our recent history, the story focuses on justice, prudence, sloth, greed, gluttony, temperance, pride. With regard to each phenomenon, i.e. each sin or/and virtue, there is the question of the duality of borders. If virtue is a desire subdued, and sin a desire that goes too far and crosses the border, this necessarily implies an area of ambiguity, of borders and questions about what is right and what isn’t.
Conversations with some Gorizia artists from both sides of the border who participated in two retrospective art exhibitions in Gorizia and Nova Gorica in the year the border was opened. We were interested in what a crossing point means, who or what determines national and cultural identity, and how to live and create without borders.

Triglav, together with the Aljaz Tower, is an iconic and irreplaceable symbol of homeland for Slovenians, which is also present in the national flag. Due to its cultural, landscape, historical and other exceptional features, Triglav has a special significance for the Republic of Slovenia. On 5 October 1999, the Slovenian state declared the Aljaz Tower a cultural monument of national importance, and nationalized it on 4 November 1999. Jakob Aljaz's idea that a cylindrical metal building with a flag on top would represent a landmark marking Slovenian ownership of the peak of a Slovenian mountain had finally come to fruition.

The chalk chases the shadow. Once it is captured, only traces of the game remain. Drawing, erasing, drawing again on a porous surface.
