Yustina's sister Polina is missing. She left their rural village in Kosovo to find work for them both in a land far far away - The land they call Sweden. But then the letters stops coming. Yustina knows that she has to go look for her sister. Yustina's journey will be filled with danger and foreign places, and in order to cope with the brutal reality, she uses her imagination to create her own world. A world where the people that has imprisoned her sister are monsters that only she, using her magical powers, can defeat.

A young couple and her brother spend a lot of time together around the city, having a lot of fun but all this happiness ends in the most unimaginable way.

The story of Viktor Stratoberdha (1921-1991) mirrors many of Albania’s tragedies. Stradoberdha’s humorous, buoyant style led him to be one of the country’s most promising filmmakers. But after being denounced in 1956, he was expelled from the Kinostudio and sent into internal exile. In 1967, Stratoberdha directed a local theater play in which the economic five year plan was placed in a coffin. He was then jailed for the next two decades. Urime Shokë Studentë! is one of the surviving documentaries of Viktor Stratoberdha’s all too short career.

The story is told through the eyes of Edoni, whose mother dies leaving him at his age of 5 alone with his helpless father. The story passes over a decade and at his age of 15 he starts work at a shoemaker store to support him and his drunken father. His story narrates violence, child abuse, and overloaded work, yet also few beautiful moments he has with his lovely girlfriend, Riga.

Little Genti wants a puppy. He expresses his wish at the family gathering, after his Roma coeval Xeni shows at the door, with his stray dog friend Aaj. This brings up a fired up discussion among the grown ups. World War II. Italian fascists have interned in the South a lot of people who fought them on the 7th of April 1939 when they came to Albania. Among them, there's an old man whom they call "Daja" (uncle), who fought along with the youth.

Story of Azem Bejta (1889–1924), commonly known as Azem Galica, who was an Albanian nationalist and rebel who fought for the unification of Kosovo with Albania.

Based on a real story that took place in Shkodër, a German captain who returns to Albania and is given his clock back from a local watchmaker (sahatçi) after 30 years. The film takes place in modern days, where an Austrian boy (Anton) goes after an Albanian student (Teuta) to Albania after being refused by her to spend the holidays together. The boy is supported by his grandfather, who gives him an envelope to read only after arriving in Albania.
