All Kinds of Everything is an Irish popular culture-based quiz show hosted by Ryan Tubridy and featuring Mario Rosenstock. The show was broadcast on RTÉ One for two series in 2003 and 2004. The show's name is taken from Dana's song All Kinds of Everything, the winning entry from Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest 1970.

Secrets is an RTÉ television light entertainment show hosted by Gerry Ryan that was broadcast on Saturday evenings for three series between 1990 and 1993. The studio-based show allowed viewers and audience members to realise their ambitions and dreams.

Guerrilla Gourmet is an Irish television series broadcast on RTÉ One. The series features professional chefs from various backgrounds, such as Dylan McGrath and Kevin Dundon, who each take on a new challenge. Each episode sees a different chef try to construct a temporary "guerrilla restaurant" out of nothing, taking on the task of locating a premises, composing a menu, cooking the food to serve to the customers and finding the actual customers themselves. The six-part series began broadcasting on 11 February 2008 at 20:30. Locations featured include Blackrock College, the Royal Hospital Kilmainham and the Rock of Cashel.

Capital D is an Irish television programme broadcast on RTÉ One. It was first broadcast in 2005. Presented by Anne Cassin, the programme focuses on human interest stories and cultural events in the Dublin area, serving as a more specific counterpart to the Nationwide programme, which focuses on issues throughout Ireland. Each programme typically includes at least three topics over a thirty minute period, each introduced by the presenter with no commercial breaks. Amongst the features that have been included in the programme are a landscaping company, a football club and a wrestler. The theme music is "Brewing Up a Storm" by The Stunning. The show is usually broadcast on Thursday evenings at 19:00; however one edition aired on Sunday 9 November 2008. Specials during Christmas have also been broadcast. RTÉ announced that it would not be on the schedules for 2012, with presenter Anne Cassin moving to Nationwide.

In the 1840s, a catastrophic famine brought about the decimation of Ireland’s poor and the exodus of millions from the island. This major, ground-breaking documentary, narrated by Liam Neeson, explores the famine’s international origins and development in Europe, Britain and Ireland and charts its long-term legacy as it plays out for much of the century that follows. Today the Irish famine is recognised as the worst humanitarian disaster of the 19th Century but what is less recognised is that the crisis impacted far beyond Ireland’s shores. The story of the Blight pathogen that killed the potato crop, starts in the Andes of South America and then reaches into the heart of northern Europe where the collapse of potato crops causes the deaths of 100,000 people adding further fuel to social tensions that lead to Europe’s year of revolutions in 1848.

Rapid Roulette is an Irish television quiz show. Four contestants compete to answer quick-fire general knowledge questions to win cash and prizes. The title refers to the show's roulette wheel that contestants spin throughout the course of the game to determine their cash and/or prizes. The programme ran between 30 September 1986 and 6 March 1990 and was produced by Green Apple Productions, and later by Strongbow, for RTÉ. The show was similar in many respects to Wheel of Fortune.

RTÉ News: Nine O'Clock is the flagship evening news programme of Irish television station RTÉ One. It is Monday to Sunday at 9:00pm.

Fame & Fortune is an Irish game show broadcast on RTÉ One on Saturday nights from 1996 to 2006. Hosted by popular Irish television and radio personality Marty Whelan, the show aired during the summer months of June, July, and August as a seasonal replacement for Winning Streak. It was preceded by Millionaire, also hosted by Whelan, and succeeded by The Trump Card in 2007, hosted by Laura Woods. Fame & Fortune had its production costs funded by RTÉ and its prize money funded by Ireland's National Lottery. Entry to the show was based on National Lottery scratchcards, and contestants could win cash, cars, holidays, and other prizes. Fame & Fortune had its final season in the summer of 2006. Its 2007 replacement, The Trump Card, was itself replaced a year later by The Big Money Game.

The Works is a weekly RTÉ One Arts magazine programme. It is broadcast in Ireland on Thursday nights at 10:15pm, focusing on the best of the week's arts and culture news, covering books, art, film, music and the performing arts. The show is presented by John Kelly and features reports from Sinéad Gleeson, Nadine O'Regan and Kevin Gildea.

Newsbeat was a Telefís Éireann television current and regional affairs programme presented by Frank Hall and broadcast in Ireland live on weekday evenings from 1964 until 1971.

Saturday Live is an Irish chat show hosted by various guest presenters and was broadcast live on Saturday nights. The show was broadcast during the autumn-spring season and was created to fill the vacant Saturday night slot after the departure of The Late Late Show from Saturday to Friday nights. It was first broadcast on RTÉ One on Saturday 25 October 1986. Saturday Live featured guest interviews and live music from guest music groups and featured a mix of serious discussion and light chat aimed at a younger audience than its main rival, The Late Late Show. The original programme ended on 11 April 1988. Saturday Live had a series of guest presenters, including the leader of Fine Gael Alan Dukes, Rhonda Paisley, soccer pundit Eamon Dunphy, industrialist Tiede Herrema and current affairs broadcaster Pat Kenny, whose own first attempt at a chat show, The Pat Kenny Show had failed. Kenny proved such a success in the Saturday Live show that he was subsequently given his own chat show under the name Kenny Live. Following Kenny's take over of The Late Late Show in 1999 and the ending of Kenny Live the Saturday Live formula was revived to fill the vacant Saturday night slot yet again. The second coming of the show proved unpopular and was ended after only one series.

Class Act is an Irish talent show which last aired on RTÉ One on Sundays at 18:30 throughout September and October 2008. It was presented by Derek Mooney. The show involved a search for young people with special talents whose efforts are then judged on television. In 2009, due to RTÉ cutbacks, the programme was axed.

The six part series, presented by Claire Byrne, tells the story of Ireland's Search and Rescue across the country, from Kerry to Donegal, Doolin to Dublin, working with all four Irish Coast Guard helicopter bases in Dublin, Waterford, Shannon and Sligo as well as RNLI stations and Mountain Rescue teams nationwide. This series also shows the work of Cork City Fire Brigade and volunteer Coast Guard groups like Doolin and Howth. As well as showing rescue footage, we also profile individual groups and show how many agencies work together in dangerous environments to save lives. Volunteers are a vital part of Search and Rescue across Ireland. Across the country builders, fisherman, nurses, engineers and doctors give up their spare time to organisations like the RNLI, Mountain Rescue and the Irish Coast Guard units.

Morning Edition is an Irish television programme broadcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ News Now. It is produced by RTÉ News and Current Affairs. The programme airs every Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 11:00 and provides a live morning mix of news, sport, business, topical discussion and entertainment. It is presented by Keelin Shanley with Anthony Murnane as relief presenter. The show was a success upon its launch. The first show started at 09:00 on January 28, 2013 and the first season ran until May 2013. The show returns for a second season on September 2, 2013. Its biggest competitor is TV3's Ireland AM.
