En dreng ved navn Bruce Wayne er vidne til sin millionærforældres mord. Dette traume bliver til en hævngerrig besættelse, og da muligheden for hævn også frarøves Wayne, forsvinder han. I det fjerne Østen opsøger han den mystiske ninjakult Ra's Al-Ghul, og efter oplæring hos denne vender han tilbage til hjembyen Gotham. Gotham er nu gennemsyret af organiseret kriminalitet, og efter opdagelsen af en grotte under hans hus og genovertagelsen af hans families firma er brikkerne på plads for skabelsen af en mørk ridder i skikkelsen af Batman. Den mørke ridder gør nu sit indtog i Gotham City med bekæmpelse af korruption, kriminalitet og uretfærdighed.

Byen har brug for helte. For mørket har sænket sig over New York og Shredder og hans onde Fodklan holder både politi og politikere i et jerngreb. Fremtiden ser dyster ud, indtil fire udstødte brødre dukker op fra kloakkerne og udfolder deres skæbne som Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Skildpadderne arbejder sammen med den frygtløse reporter April O'Neil og hendes kvikke kameramand Vern Fenwick for at redde byen og afslører Shredders djævelske plan.

En flok rumvæsner, anført af Krang fra Dimension X, invaderer Turtles' hjemby, New York. Som om det ikke var nok, må de fire pizzaædende, muterede ninjaskildpadder endnu en gang slås mod deres ærkefjende, Shredder, som har ansat en forsker til at lave sine egne, bomstærke mutanter: Bebop og Rocksteady. Samtidig opdager Turtles et retro-mutagen, som måske kan forvandle dem til mennesker igen.

De hemmelige Ninjago-krigere Kai, Cole, Jay Zane og Nya er oplært af den vise mester Wu til at bekæmpe al ondskab og forsvare Ninjago City. Deres nyeste medlem, den unge Lloyd, opdager, at han er Den Grønne Ninja, der i legenderne beskrives som Ninjagos redningsmand. Uheldigvis er den superskurk, Lloyd skal nedlægge, hans egen far - krigsherren Lord Garmadon.

Naruto er begejstret, når han bliver sendt på en mission for at beskytte hans foretrukne skuespiller, Yukie Fujikaze, omgring sætte af hendes nye film, The Adventures of Prinsesse Gale. Men da besætningen tager ud for at filme i den iskolde, ildevarslende Land af Sne, Yukie mystisk flygter! Naruto og hans grupe tager ud for at finde hende ... uvidende om, at tre Sne Ninja ligger på lur med en skummel formål, der vil tvinge Yukie til af stå ansigt til ansigt med hendes skjulte fortid!

På grund af radioaktiv stråling muterer fire unge skildpadder, så deres intelligens og størrelse får en ordentlig vitaminindsprøjtning. De tre gutter bor i kloaksystemet under New York, hvor de hyggesnakker og spiser pizza. Under den muterede rotte Splinters kyndige vejledning øver padderne sig kung fu. Det bliver der god brug for, da skurken Shredder kommer på banen!

Efter i årevis at have været beskyttet mod den menneskelige verden sætter Turtle-brødrene sig for at vinde newyorkernes hjerter og blive accepteret som normale teenagere gennem heroiske handlinger. Deres nye ven April O'Neil hjælper dem med at kæmpe mod et mystisk forbrydersyndikat, men de kommer snart ud på dybt vand, da en hær af mutanter slippes løs på dem.

Rantarō, Shinbei and Kirimaru are ninja apprentices in the Ninja Gakuen, where first grade ones are called "Nintamas". They must learn everything a ninja must know, but as for our heroes, money, food or playing are more interesting. The series show the everyday adventures of our heroes.

The main antagonist Kemumaki, a Koga ninja and his ninja cat, Kagechiyo always troubles Kenichi, mainly because of their feud over one girl, Yumeko. Kenichi asks Hattori to take revenge as a recurring storyline in many episodes. Although Hattori is a good friend, Kenichi sometimes fights with Hattori due to misunderstandings created by Kemumaki. Sometimes Jippou, Togejirou and Tsubame help him.

After Crystallized, the 16 realms have abruptly fused into a cosmic unstable dystopia. A Spinjitzu Ninja Master trains a new generation of heroes to find Elemental Dragons before the forces of evil exploit that energy to destroy the world.

Four turtles fall into the sewers and are befriended by Hamato Yoshi a Japanese man sent to New York who was forced to live in the sewers. One day he sees a strange green glow which transforms the four turtles into human-like creatures. Hamato (now Master Splinter) changes into a giant rat from the green glow and teaches the turtles the skills of the ninja as they team up with news reporter April O'Neil to battle against Yoshi's arch enemy Shredder and Krang, an alien warlord from Dimension X.

Science Ninja Team Gatchaman is a five-member superhero team that is composed of the main characters in several anime created by Tatsuo Yoshida and originally produced in Japan by Tatsunoko Productions and later adapted into several English-language versions. It is also known by the abbreviated name Gatchaman. The original series, produced in 1972, was eponymously named Kagaku Ninja Tai Gatchaman and is most well known to the English-speaking world as the adaptation titled Battle of the Planets. Shadow Warriors is a Japanese television jidaigeki show featuring Sonny Chiba that ran for four seasons in the early 1980s. Chiba played different ninja characters in each series. In the first series he played Hattori Hanzō III, in second one he played Tsuge Shinpachi, in the third one he played Tarao Hanzō, in the fourth series and in Bakumatsu Hen, he played Hattori Hanzō XV. In the 2003 direct-to-DVD series Shin Kage no Gundan he played Hattori Hanzō I.
