En drøm der alt for ofte blev til et levende mareridt. Et barskt portræt af kunstneren, som er splittet mellem den lyse inspiration fra hans geni og den mørke desperation i hans plagende sind. Den besatte van Gogh malede, som andre mænd trækker vejret, og drev sin familie og sine venner fra sig, heriblandt kunstneren Paul Gauguin.

The Mimic is a British shown on Channel 4, starting 13th March 2013. The series centers on the fortunes of Martin Hurdle, an everyday maintenance man with an uncanny ability to mimic voices and stars Terry Mynott in the lead role.
