Politiske ekstremister har kapret et fly fra USA og tvinger piloten til at flyve dem til Beirut. Den amerikanske præsident indkalder Delta Force, et elitehold af kommandosoldater, der ledes af Oberst Nick Alexander og Major Scott McCoy. Gidsler bliver holdt fanget forskellige steder i Beirut, og de skal befries for enhver pris. Specialstyrken lander i Israel og begynder at forberede en storstilet redningsaktion. Stik imod alle odds lykkes det dem at sprænge sig ind i terroristernes base. Men missionen er ikke forbi endnu. Nogle få passagerer er ved at blive eskorteret til Teheran, hvilket fører til en desperat kamp mod uret. Alexander og McCoy kæmper for at redde dem og forsvare USA's ære, før det er for sent.

East Side follows Momi, an ex-Secret Service agent-turned-fixer who plays by his own rules as he brokers shady property deals between the Arab residents of East Jerusalem, and the powerful Jewish groups trying to take control of the area by whatever means possible. Brooding and well-connected, Momi slips between communities with ease. But behind his cool facade, the deadly consequences of his double-dealing are taking their toll, and at the center of his world is 18-year-old autistic daughter Maya.

It tells the story of a Saudi family with limited income, consisting of Yarub and his sister Asrar and their grandfather. The family goes through strange adventures. Yarub is destined to face Al-Harith, who seeks to destroy the world, but Yarub does not know his fate.
