15-årige Tom flytter med sin storesøster, far og gravide mor fra London til det landlige og isolerede Devon, hvor han har svært ved at falde til. Hans 18-årige storesøster, Jessie, synes derimod at håndtere omvæltningen fint, men langsomt får Tom mistanke om, at hun og deres far har et unaturligt forhold til hinanden.
