Med søde drømme om en skuespillerkarriere i bagagen lander Betty i Hollywood, hvor hun har lånt sin tantes tomme hus som base i sin søgen efter lykken. Men huset er ikke tomt. Og i kabaréten er der ingen problemer, dem lægger man fra sig i garderoben!
