En FBI-agent som efterforsker en række bankrøverier går undercover for at se nærmere på en mistænkt bande. Efterhånden som efterforskningen skrider frem, må han vælge mellem pligt og venskab. Blandt FBI's mistænkte er nogle bandemedlemmer, som tilbringer meget af deres tid på at surfe. Johnny bliver derfor sendt på stranden, hvor han skal gå undercover og forsøge at indsamle oplysninger. Her møder han bandelederen og surferen Bodhi, som introducerer ham for en alternativ livsstil. Efterhånden som efterforskningen skrider frem, bliver Utah imidlertid tvunget til at vælge mellem pligt og venskab.

Den verdensberømt surfer Steve Addington møder de gamle surfer-venner i Californien, for at høste succes. Der er blot ét problem: Der er ingen bølger i Californien! Samtidig flygter kønne og begavede Danni Martin fra sin fars kedelige forretningsforbindelser, til Californien, for at arbejde på et kombineret computerspil og reality tv-show om de kendte surferes vilde liv og hede affærer med lækre strand Babes. Men endnu et problem opstår. Alle kendte surfere vil være med, undtagen Steve svigter ikke sit flowerpower hjerte, og nægter at lade sig udnytte af de store kommercielle foretagender i byen. I stedet flygter han og vennerne hellere ind i hashtågernes klarsyn og sentimentalitet. Lige indtil pengene slipper op.

Da Nancy er ude at surfe, opdager hun, at hun befinder sig på en hvidhajs jagtområde. Overlevelse bliver et spørgsmål om, hvem der har den stærkeste vilje.

En serie Robin Hood-agtige røverier i Mumbai og Mexico leder FBI på sporet af en gruppe ekstremsportsudøvere. FBI sætter den tidligere vovehals Johnny Utah til at infiltrere banden, som ledes af den karismatiske Bodhi. Gruppen går efter at fuldføre otte livsfarlige prøvelser, og jo tættere Johnny kommer på Bodhis bande, jo mere bliver han opslugt af deres livsstil.

Barbie spiller hovedrollen som Merliah, der er surferstjerme i Malibu, California. Hun er en ganske almindelig teenager, indtil hun opdager, at hun faktisk er en havfrue! Merliah og hendes delfinven Zuma drager ud på et eventyr under vandet for at redde Merliahs mor, dronningen af Oceana. Undervejs lykkes det for Top Secret! at behandle de store krigs- og Elvis-film som Højt at flyve behandlede katastrofefilmene...

Bethanys beslutsomhed og nægtelse mod at give op, giver hende styrke til at vende sin tragedie til noget godt, og samtidig give andre håb.

Anastácia "Naná" Passos, Duda's friend and mentor, loves him platonically, and rivalizes with Mariza Borges over him. Alex by contrast is a yuppie. He and their mother Morgana have a love-hate relationship and rivalry with his brother over Morgana's attention and the company. Alex begins to love Duda, however she falls in love with Lucas, a graffiti artist who is on the run from the São Paulo police due to his involvement in a crime there. He is also searching for his real father, and thinks it's either Alex or Gaspar.

Bradin, Nikki and Derrick are 3 kids from an average normal Kansas household. Their whole life is thrown upside-down when their parents are tragically killed in a car accident. Ava Gregory (their aunt) gets custody of her niece and nephews and they move into her Californian home (in Summerland). Ava, a struggling clothes designer, lives with her best friend and business partner, Susannah Rexford, her friend, an ex- pro.surfer, Jay Robertson and her ex-boyfriend, real estate agent, Johnny Durrant. All four of them are highly unequipped to handle children and are not use to including them in their everyday lives.

Blue Water High is an Australian television drama series, broadcast by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation on ABC1 and on Austar/Foxtel Nickelodeon channel in Australia and on various channels in many other countries. Series three ended with the closure of Solar Blue, indicating that the show would most likely not continue.

Continuing the mockumentary style of his previous series, the show explores the issues faced by young males in the 21st century – their influences, their pressures, their dreams and ambitions. In Angry Boys, Lilley plays multiple characters: S.mouse, an American rapper; Jen, a manipulative Japanese mother; Blake Oakfield, a champion surfer; Ruth "Gran" Sims, a guard at a juvenile detention facility; and her grandchildren, South Australian twins Daniel and Nathan Sims. The series is a co-production between the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and US cable channel HBO, with a pre-sale to BBC Three in the United Kingdom. Filmed in Melbourne, Los Angeles and Tokyo, Angry Boys premièred on 11 May 2011 at 9:00 pm on ABC1.
