Undervejs på deres redningsaktion - i deres Winnebago - møder de den enorme, slimede Pizza The Hutt, den flabede robot Dot Matrix og et klogt lille væsen, som hedder Yogurt, der lærer dem at benytte den mystiske kraft "The Schwartz", så de kan genoprette freden - og alle ophavsrettigheder - i galaksen!
Arthur får sig et dobbelt chok, da han hører fra sin bedste ven Ford, at jorden snart vil eksplodere! Der skal nemlig gøres plads til en ny "motorvej i rummet". Imens pønser Dr. Evil dog på en ny plan: Han vil placere en kæmpe laserkanon på månen og med truslen fra den overtage verdensherredømmet.
Futureworld fortsætter, hvor forgængeren Westworld slap - næsten da. I den højteknologiske underholdningspark for voksne, hvor alt kan lade sig gøre, er der igen uorden i robotterne. Journalisterne Trazc og Chuck (Peter Fonda, Blythe Danner) kommer på sporet af en meddelelse fra en gæst i parken, der har opdaget "noget", men er død, før han har kunnet nå at fortælle om det. Det må de to journalister naturligvis straks efterforske.
I en forlystelsespark kan man opleve det syndige gamle Rom, middelalderens riddertid eller Det Vilde Vesten, hvor robotter agerer tidens mennesker. En dag bryder kontrolpanelet sammen, hvorved maskineriet løber løbsk. En automatisk revolverhelt jagter de besøgende i stedet for at blive afbrudt, som han er programmeret til.
I en nær fremtid befinder en dronepilot sig i en krigszone, og sammen med en tophemmelig androide skal han udføre en mission for at stoppe et atomangreb.
Robotten Andrew har menneskelige følelser samt en værdifuld evne til at lave elegante og præcistgående ure. Årene går og Andrew længes efter sin frihed og at finde ligestillede artsfæller. Andrew drager ud i verden og søger i mange år går, inden han vender tilbage og møder en videnskabsmand, som kan give ham et menneskeligt ydre.

A one volume manga was created based on the series, and was licensed and distributed by TOKYOPOP. The show was picked up for a UK DVD release by Manga Entertainment starting in March 2006.
