Tre kærestepar, det ene mere naivt og dumt end det andet, slæber bogstaveligt talt rundt på et "lig i lasten". Nemmere bliver det ikke, da en rablende gal blanding af Ghostface fra "Scream" og Ben Willis fra "I Know What You Did Last Summer" begynder at svinge kniven... Den hysteriske morsomme scene er sat til en af de bedste satirer, der nogensinde er lavet over den morsomme gysergenre. De grovkornede løjer, ustyrlige visuelle indfald og dumme vitser vil ingen ende tage... Den meget anmelderroste Scary Movie eller slet og rek "Skrækfilm" tager fra start til slut tykt pis på film som "Scream", "I Know What You Did Last Summer", "The Blair Witch Project", "The Sixth Sense" og "The Matrix". Seks dumme teenagere, deriblandt Jon Abrahams (Boiler Room, The Faculty) og Carmen Electra (Baywatch, Cheerleaders) forfølges af en gal seriemorder. Snart begynder både ligene og grinene at hobe sig op!

Den menneskefjendske trold Shrek bor alene midt i en sump, men en dag bliver han overrendt af eventyrfigurer, der er blevet smidt ud af Lord Farquards rige. Shrek aftaler med Faraquard, at han kan få lov til at være i fred, hvis han befrier herskerens udkårne, der holdes fanget af en drage. Og så drager Shrek af sted med sin følgesvend Æselet.

Scary Movie 2, der er en uhyggelig fortsættelse af etteren, retter sit satriske blik mod klassikere som "Eksorcisten" og "Poltergejst" men også nyere film som "Hannibal", "Bag Facaden", "Ondskabens Hus", "Charlies Angels" og "mission Impossible 2" står for skud. Brødrene Wayans kaster sig også over den moderne popkultur, OBS-indslag, tv-medier og basketballreklamer. Filmen indledes med en parodi på "Eksorcisten" med James Woods i rollen som den bizarre præst, Fader McFeely, der skal befri den hovedsnurrende Megan for en dæmon. Derefter mødes brødrene Wayans med heltinden Cindy Campell, der nu er en lovende universitetsstuderende. En gal professor lokker hende og en gruppe eventyrlystne klassekammerater med på en weekendtur under foregivende af at skulle udføre et eksperiment. Efterhånden som den usædvanlige weekend skrider frem, finder den ene bizarre hændelse sted efter den anden.

Efter at Charlie Sheen dør, bliver hans tre børn fundet i en hytte langt ude i skoven. De vilde unger flytter ind hos Charlies bror, Dan, og dennes kæreste, Jody, i et hus fyldt med overvågningskameraer. Noget tyder på, at børnene hjemsøges af deres mor, som er besat af en dæmon. Imens kæmper Jody for at få hovedrollen i en ballet, mens Dan har problemer på sit arbejde i et genetikcenter for aber.

Dette er historien om den heltemodige diktator Admiral General Aladeen, som sætter sit liv på spil for at sikre, at hans elskede land Wadiya aldrig får indført demokrati. Det bringer ham til USA, hvor han bl.a. skal deltage i en parade, bo på luksushotel og have sex med Megan Fox!

Kan dine lattermuskler klare endnu en omgang Scary Movie? Lige som du troede det var sikkert, at begynde at se film igen… så viser Scary Movie 4 sit grimme ansigt, og giver os en skrupskør, uklippet og ucensureret version, der aldrig har været vist i biograferne. I denne fjerde og sidste del af den hæmningsløse trilogi, går det løs med stjerner som Anna Faris (Scary Movie 1, 2 & 3, Lost In Translation), Regina Hall (Scary Movie 1, 2 & 3) og Craig Bierko (Cinderella Man) i hovedrollerne, samt fantastiske gæstespil af Carmen Electra, Michael Madsen og Leslie Nielsen. Men The Grudge er ikke stærk nok, The Village er ikke sikker nok, og Saw er ikke skarp nok, til at undgå endnu en latterkrampe i det gode gys’ navn i Scary Movie 4!

Den tungsindige Cindy er færdig med college og har netop fået job som nyhedsvært på den lokale TV-station. I løbet af få dage kaldes hun bogstaveligt talt ud i marken, for at undersøge nogle mystiske korncirkler. Undervejs aflægger Cindy besøg hos Morpheus, der forklarer hende at hun er den udvalgte – The One. Den der skal hjælpe den amerikanske præsident med at afværge en altdominerende invasion af aliens.

Marlon Wayans er tilbage i denne fortsættelse til spoof-komedien . Han spiller Malcolm, som prøver at komme videre efter sin kærestes alt for tidlige død. Han er flyttet sammen med sin nye kæreste og hendes to børn i et stort hus, men de bliver hurtigt hjemsøgt at dæmoner.

Tre selvfede skuespillere skal indspille en krigsfilm, som de er overbeviste om bliver den bedste nogensinde. For at give filmen ekstra realisme skal optagelserne foregå dybt inde i den asiatiske jungle. Uheldigvis er junglen også hjemsted for nogle rigtig lede typer, der skyder med rigtige kugler. Og så bliver optagelserne pludselig en del mere realistisk, end det var meningen.

Den højt dekorerede London politibetjent Nicholas Angel er god til sit arbejde. Lidt for god, synes hans overordnede, så de forflytter ham til en lille soveby. Her sker der ikke noget, altså lige ud over havefester og dyrkelse af naboskab. Men Angel lader sig ikke narre. Bag den pæne provinsoverflade er der noget, som ikke er, som det skal være!
