Κατά τη διάρκεια του Σαββατοκύριακου, που διαμένουν σε μια καμπίνα στο δάσος, τρία παιδιά πρέπει να σώσουν τους γονείς τους από την γειτόνισα τους που σκοπεύει να τα ταΐσει στην νεκρή/ζόμπι οικογένειά της.

Ένα τραγικό στρατιωτικό λάθος προκαλεί την ενεργοποίηση ενός πειραματικού όπλου, αφανίζοντας ολόκληρο τον πληθυσμό ενός νησιού. Οι νεκροί όμως ανασταίνονται. Τρία σχολιαρόπαιδα πάνω στο παιχνίδι τους εντοπίζουν ένα από τα διαφεύγοντα βαρέλια με το αέριο που στο προηγούμενο μέρος ευθύνεται για την επιστροφή των νεκρών. Άθελά τους το ανοίγουν και τα ζόμπι επιστρέφουν.
