Ο Σάιμον και η Ρόμπιν είναι ένα παντρεμένο ζευγάρι και η ζωή τους πηγαίνει όπως την είχαν οργανώσει. Τότε, ο Σάιμον συναντάει τυχαία κάποιον γνωστό του από τις σχολικές ημέρες. Οι φιλοδοξίες τους θα τις ωθήσουν να προσλάβουν τον Tim, έναν τοπικό απατεώνα που θα τις βοηθήσει να αποκαταστήσουν τις ζωές τους.
