Ο Lee Van Cleef υποδύεται τον Jonathan Corbett έναν περιβόητο κυνηγό επικηρυγμένων. Ένας πλούσιος άντρας με το όνομα Brockston (Walter Barnes) γνωρίζοντας τη φήμη του Corbett του ζητάει να πιάσει τον Cuchillo (Tomas Milian),ένα φτωχό Μεξικανό καταζητούμενο για το βιασμό και το φόνο ενός 12 χρονου κοριτσιού.
