Ο Ντάγκλας Βάρνεϊ είναι ένας φιλήσυχος και καθωσπρέπει φαρμακοποιός σε μια μικρή πόλη. Η ζωή του δεν του παρέχει κάποια απόλαυση, αφού είναι δέσμιος σε έναν γάμο με μια γυναίκα, την Κάρα, που δεν αγαπά. Όλα αλλάζουν όταν γνωρίζει την Ελίζαμπεθ Ρόμπερτς, μια παντρεμένη πελάτισσα του μαγαζιού του. Οι δυο τους θα ξεκινήσουν μια παθιασμένη σχέση. Τα πράγματα βγαίνουν εκτός ελέγχου, όμως, όταν αυτή του ζητάει να δολοφονήσει τον άντρα της Τζακ.

Η Τζούντιθ είναι μια σύμβουλος γάμου, που ενώ δίνει κάθε μέρα συμβουλές σε ζευγάρια, αγνοεί τα προβλήματα του δικού της γάμου. Μια παλιά της φλόγα από το κολέγιο τη δελεάζει να τα παρατήσει όλα: οικογένεια, δουλειά, σπίτι. Μια σειρά από απρόβλεπτα γεγονότα, όμως, την κάνουν να σκεφτεί πως η νέα της ζωή μπορεί να μην είναι τόσο υπέροχη όσο φαντάζει. Ο σύζυγος της, Μπράις, αποφασίζει να κάνει μια κίνηση για να διορθωθούν όλα ανάμεσα τους. Όταν, όμως, πηγαίνει να της κάνει έκπληξη στο γραφείο, τον περιμένει μια έκπληξη τον ίδιον.

Ο Θανάσης, ένας γκαφατζής επαρχιώτης, έρχεται στην Αθήνα και κάνει ό,τι δουλειά του προσφέρουν χωρίς να στεριώνει πουθενά, εξαιτίας της νοοτροπίας του αλλά και της αφέλειάς του. Στο τέλος θα χάσει ακόμα και την κοπέλα του και θα γυρίσει στο χωριό του.

Όταν ο Γκάμπριελ και η Έμιλι συναντιούνται τυχαία, της προσφέρει μια βόλτα και περνούν το βράδυ μιλώντας, γελώντας και περνώντας υπέροχα. Στο τέλος της βραδιάς, η Έμιλι αρνείται την προσφορά του Γκάμπριελ για «ένα φιλί χωρίς συνέπειες». Η Έμιλι τον επιπλήττει ότι το φιλί θα μπορούσε να έχει απροσδόκητες συνέπειες και του διηγείται μια ιστορία, που ξεδιπλώνεται σε αναδρομές στο παρελθόν, για την αδυναμία να ικανοποιήσεις τις επιθυμίες σου χωρίς να επηρεάσεις τη ζωή κάποιου άλλου.

Shirayuki was a young girl born with unique apple-red hair. She meets a famous but foolish Prince Raji, who falls in love with her at first sight and orders her to become his concubine. With nowhere else to go, Shirayuki cuts her hair and escapes to a neighboring country. While traversing through the forests, she meets a young boy, Zen, who helps her after she boldly cures his wounds but then gets poisoned by an apple given to Shirayuki. Meanwhile, Prince Raji sends out henchmen to search for her. What will happen to Shirayuki? What is Zen's true character? A refreshing fantasy story between an optimistic heroine and a prince who constantly stays on her watch.

Aoi Midori is a pharmacist and in the 8-year span of her career, she has worked according to her strong belief that "One must know the patient well in order to prescribe the correct medication as medicine is the bond that connects the patient's today to his/her daily life henceforth". Due to that, Aoi usually takes a long time in her consultations with the patients, and this causes her to be complained by her colleagues for being too inefficient in her work. Aoi shrugs off the complaints as her goal is to help the patients regain the daily life that they once took for granted.

When Lee Jeong-in and Yu Ji-ho meet, something unexpected happens. Or it just may be that spring is in the air -- and anything is possible.

Victorian Pharmacy is a historical documentary TV series in four parts, first shown on BBC Two in July 2010. It was made for the BBC by independent production company Lion Television. It was filmed at Blists Hill Victorian Town in Shropshire. It is a historical documentary that looks at life in the 19th Century and how people attempted to cure common ailments. Since some of the ingredients of Victorian remedies are now either illegal or known to be dangerous, Nick Barber often uses his modern pharmaceutical knowledge to produce similar products without those ingredients. The other main presenters are Tom Quick, a PhD student, and Ruth Goodman, a domestic historian who also appeared in Tales from the Green Valley, Victorian Farm and Edwardian Farm.
