Ο Μορίς, ένας πανέξυπνος γάτος του δρόμου, έχει σκεφτεί την τέλεια απάτη για να βγάζει λεφτά: παρέα με έναν νεαρό αυλητή, τον Κιθ, πάνε από πόλη σε πόλη πείθοντας τους κατοίκους της να αναλάβουν να απομακρύνουν, με το αζημίωτο φυσικά, τους αρουραίους που δημιουργούν προβλήματα. Αυτό που δεν τους λένε, βέβαια, είναι ότι οι εν λόγω αρουραίοι είναι μέρος της απάτης: πρόκειται για φίλους τους, οι οποίοι εντελώς βολικά έπειτα από την παρέμβαση του Μορίς και του Κιθ «απαλλάσσουν» τους κατοίκους από την παρουσία τους… όπως κι από τα λεφτά τους. Όταν, όμως, η παρέα φτάσει στην πόλη του Μπαντ Μπλιντς, το κόλπο τους αχρηστεύεται, αφού βρίσκουν να συμβαίνουν περίεργα περιστατικά: κάτι πολύ σκοτεινό τούς περιμένει στους υπονόμους… Όμως, ό,τι κι αν είναι, υπολογίζουν χωρίς τον Απίθανο Μορίς και την παρέα του.

Βρισκόμαστε στον Δισκόκοσμο, τον φανταστικό κόσμο του Τέρι Πράτσετ, που τον κουβαλάει στην πλάτη της μια τεράστια χελώνα. Ο Χογκφάδερ έρχεται μια φορά το χρόνο φέρνοντας το πνεύμα των γιορτών στα παιδιά, κάνοντας τα όνειρά τους πραγματικότητα. Φέτος όμως η γιορτή, όπως και η πίστη των ανθρώπων σε αυτή, είναι σε κίνδυνο! Οι Ελεγκτές τον έχουν απαγάγει θέλοντας να ξαναφέρουν τη λογική και να σταματήσουν την εξάπλωση των μύθων, ενώ η Σούζαν, η εγγονή του Θανάτου, αναλαμβάνει να τον σώσει.

Soul Music is a seven-part animated television adaptation of the book of the same name by Terry Pratchett, produced by Cosgrove Hall, and first broadcast on 12 May 1997. It was the first film adaptation of an entire Discworld novel. The series soundtrack was also released on CD, but the disc is now out of production. The soundtrack is, however, now available through iTunes.

Moist von Lipwig is a con-man with a particular talent-- he is utterly unremarkable. When his execution is stayed in Terry Pratchett's remarkable Discworld, he must work off his debt to society as the land's head Postman. When Duke Felmet murders King Verence and takes over the small country of Lancre on the Discworld, a trio of witches—the flowery Magrat Garlick, the lively Nanny Ogg, and their leader Granny Weatherwax—are involuntarily tasked with protecting the king's infant son.

On the night before Hogswatch, the holiday where kids anticipate presents from the beloved Hogfather, Death notices that the Hogfather's life-timer is lying broken on the floor of his castle. Could it be that Hogswatch will not happen this year?
