Ο Χάρι Πότερ επιστρέφει για τον πέμπτο χρόνο των σπουδών του. Αυτή τη φορά, θα πρέπει να αντιμετωπίσει μια στρυφνή και μυστηριώδη καθηγήτρια, αλλά και να προετοιμάσει τους μαθητές για μια μάχη με τις σκοτεινές δυνάμεις.

Μια βασίλισσα (Arly Jover), αποφασισμένη να εκπληρώσει τον έρωτά της, κάνει ένα απελπισμένο παιχνίδι: προσλαμβάνει τη μάγισσα Gray Alys (Milla Jovovich), μια γυναίκα τόσο φοβισμένη όσο και ισχυρή. Αφού η Σάρα συμφωνήσει, συνηδειτοποιούν ότι με μια τέταρτη μάγισσα, μπορούν να κάνουν ξόρκια που δεν μπορούσαν πριν και να αρχίσουν να καλυτερεύουν κάποια πράγματα στη ζωή τους. Όμως όπως όλα τα πράγματα στη ζωή, υπάρχει ένα τίμημα. Οι δυνάμεις τους σύντομα θα τις συνεπάρουν και θα στραφεί η μία ενάντια στην άλλη.
