Μια αταίριαστη ομάδα ανυποψίαστων μαθητών λυκείου ανακαλύπτει ένα αρχαίο καταραμένο αζτεκικό αντικείμενο. Η παρέα με τρόμο αντιλαμβάνεται ότι, φυσώντας το και ακούγοντας τον τρομακτικό ήχο που εκπέμπει, καλούν κοντά τους, τους μελλοντικούς τους θανάτους.
Όλα ξεκινούν όταν μια όμορφη και δημοφιλής μαθήτρια του γυμνασίου βρίσκεται δολοφονημένη στον κήπο του σπιτιού της. Μια ομάδα μαθητών, με ολότελα λανθασμένη αντίληψη για το τι συμβαίνει γύρω τους, αρχίζουν να υποψιάζονται πως ο δολοφόνος βρίσκεται ανάμεσα τους. Αν όλα αυτά σας θυμίζουν κάτι , δεν πέφτετε και πολύ έξω, καθώς όμως ξετυλίγεται το κουβάρι της ιστορίας, μια σειρά από εξωφρενικές και ολίγον τι μακάβριες εκπλήξεις διασύρουν την πλοκή της ταινίας , διανθίζοντάς τη με σουρεαλιστικές καταστάσεις και ανατροπές.
