Märksõna Jungle

Vana tark paavian Rafiki jutustab legendaarsest lõvikuningast Mufasast noorele kutsikale Kiarale, Simba ja Nala tütrele. Jutustamisele segavad pidevalt oma kommentaaridega vahele lahutamatud sõbrad Timon ja Pumbaa. Rafiki meenutustes rullub lahti lugu Mufasast, kui vanemateta kutsikast. Sihitult ekseldes satub tema teele Taka, lõvide dünastia kuningliku vereliini pärija. Juhuslikust kohtumisest saab alguse teekond rühmale heidikutele, kes otsivad oma saatust. Nende suhted pannakse proovile, kui nad teevad koostööd, et pääseda ähvardava ohu eest.

Kapten Willard (Martin Sheen) saadetakse sõjaväe käsul metsikusse džunglisse tapma seal enda omavolilise armee loonud Kolonel Kurtzi (Marlon Brando). Seal valitsevad aga salapärased hüpnotiseerivad jõud, mille mõjul tema meeskonna liikmed järk-järgult surema hakkavad. Mida sügavamale džunglisse Willard jõuab, seda rohkem ta muutub selle mehe sarnaseks, keda ta tapma tuli...

Seiklusterohke lugu kodustatud sinisest safiiraarast nimega Blu, kes rändab kaugele eksootilisele maale Rio de Janeiro linna, et leida sealt eest Pärl, tema ainus säilinud liigikaaslane. Peagi pärast Blu ja ta omaniku Linda Riosse saabumist röövivad Blu ja Pärli kurjad loomasmugeldajad. Nutikate lõuapoolikutest linnalindude abiga põgeneb Blu röövlite käest, õpib lendama ning jõuab tagasi Linda, oma parima sõbra juurde.

Lugu džunglis üles kasvanud Tarzanist. Tarzan (Tony Goldwyn) oli veel imik kui sattus vanematega laevaõnnetusse, mis tõi nad džungli äärele, kuhu nad otsustasid rajada uue kodu. Tarzan oli veel väike kui kaotas oma vanemad, kuid juhuse tahtel sattus talle peale gorilla Kala (Glenn Close), kes Tarzani džunglis üles kasvatas. Tarzan uskus, et on osa perekonnast, kuid siis kohtab ta teisi inimesi, kes on tulnud uurima gorillasid. Tarzan mõistab, et on inimene ja ei kuulu gorillade sekka. Ta peab nüüd otsustama, millise pere juurde kuulub...

Esimene peatükk - Vietnami sõda. Mereväe treeninglaagrisse Parrise saarele Lõuna-Carolinas saabub uus grupp Mereväelasi. Sealseid vägesi juhatav seersant on karmikäeline ning tema ainsaks eesmärgiks on teha hoolealustest armutud tapamasinad. Teine peatükk - Parrise saarel treeninud Mereväerühma liige on töötamas Vietnamis sõjareporterina. Sõja kõige verisema lahingu eelõhtul saadetakse ta riigi pealinna lugu kirjutama. Seal kohtub ta liitlasvägede salkadega, mille liikmete seas on ka tema endisi treeningkaaslasi. Kuid ta satub koos rühmaga tule alla ning on sunnitud siiski sõjast võitlejana osa võtma.

Rudyard Kiplingu ajatul ja samanimelisel kirjandusklassikal ning samuti 1967. aasta Disney filmistuudio animafilmil põhinev linateos, mis sobilik ja põnev vaatamine igas vanuses kinosõbrale ja mille peategelaseks on keset džunglit hundikarjas kasvanud inimlaps nimega Mowgli.

Pärast seda, kui juhmivõitu Sid kaob allpool jääd ja lund asuvasse salapärasesse maailma, asuvad sõbrad teda päästma. Seda tehes puutuvad nad kokku nii lendavate kui sammuvate dinosaurustega, võitlevad elusloodusega ja leiavad endale uue kartmatu abilise, kelle elu sisuks on kassi-hiire-mäng suurte kiskjatega.

Tarzan is a series that aired on NBC from 1966 – 1968. The series portrayed Tarzan as a well-educated character, one who, tired of civilization, had returned to the jungle where he had been raised. The show retained many of the trappings of the classic movie series, including Cheeta, while excluding other elements, such as Jane, as part of the "new look" for the fabled apeman that producer Sy Weintraub had introduced in previous motion pictures starring Gordon Scott, Jock Mahoney, and Mike Henry. CBS aired repeat episodes the program during the summer of 1969.

For this she covers herself in a dark liquid mud which allows her to be largely unseen in the low light of the jungle, and with more than normal strength, agility and speed, and armed with a pair of gloves with bone claws, she is a formidable one woman fighting force. She does kill sometimes.
