Ühes väikeses tiigis elav sinikael-partide pere on omadega parajas puntras. Isa Mack tahab, et nad püsiks kogu elu oma kodutiigis, sest selle piires on tal tunne, et ta suudab oma lähedasi kaitsta. Ema Pam sooviks aga pakkuda nende lastele uusi elamusi ja näidata, et väljaspool tillukest tiiki laiub suur ja põnev maailm.
