Neli meest ja üks naine kogunevad nädalalõpuks linnaäärsesse villasse, et pühenduda söömisele ja seksile. Neli sõpra, lendur Marcello (Marcello Mastroianni), gastronoom Michel (Michel Piccoli), teleprodutsent Philippe (Philippe Noiret) ja kohtunik Ugo (Ugo Tognazzi), kutsuvad enda seltsi kooliõpetaja Andrea (Andrea Ferreol) ja paar prostituuti.
