Tulevikus on aset leidnud katastroofiline sündmus nimeks The Quiet Rapture, mille käigus kadusid universumist seletamatult kõik tähed ja elukõlblikud planeedid. Inimkonna riismed jäävad ellu vaid vananevatel kosmoselaevadel ja jaamades, kus varud on lõppemas. Lootusetu ellujäämiskatse käigus saadetakse vang (Markiplier) miniallveelaevaga "Raudkops" kaugele kuule nimega AT-5, kus laiub hiiglaslik veremeri. Vangi ülesanne on navigeerida läbi pimeda süviku, et pildistada anomaaliaid, mis võivad peita endas inimkonna pääseteed. Kuid vereookeani sügavustes selgub peagi, et vang ei ole seal üksinda ning hirm suletud ruumi ja tundmatu ees muutub võitluseks elu ja surma peale.
