Directed mainly for kids, the film speaks of a Havana that reveals two distinct faces, from the everyday life of a couple of kids.

Alejo has decided to leave his previous life behind. He gets a job as a window cleaner in an important building in downtown Buenos Aires. He prefers to go through the most complicated moment of his life in the city heights, immersed in an alien world that forces him to go through unexpected experiences. Vertigo, loneliness, workplace harassment, helplessness and abandonment will turn him into a lonely and paranoid man hanging by a thread that is too fragile.

A group of young women share an apartment and they put forward their studies to love, but they will end up in love.

Country bumpkin Frank runs into a gangland shooting, driving the victims to the gang's headquarters. He soon earns a place in Erik's mob. Syndicate head Big John wishes to unite the four gangs in Chicago, but Erik defies them, wishing to remain independent. An assassination attempt forces him to reconsider, and his gang isn't impressed with what they take for his cowardice. This is the point that allows the ambitious Frank to muscle in on Erik's mob, and his moll, Lucie. Frank's first move is to hire outside pros, and shoot up a casino of Big John's, challenging the entire syndicate. Erik, meanwhile, harbors feelings of revenge.

Three women from three different generations and walks of life find themselves in a very hot, semi-deserted Spanish town. Patricia is a 17 year old roaming Spain in search for a certain man; Sol is 27, a door-to-door salesgirl in dire economic straits who has just been thrown out of her apartment; and Virginia is a middle aged housewife, who after 20 years decides to start a new life. These three spend a very unique 24 hour period together, often acting, as the title suggests, as modern day "witches".

Bernardo is an undertaker. He runs his mortuary business in the same house where he resides. In the front, he has his clients. When a young boy steals billiard balls from a local saloon, a stranger is charged with the crime. The local layabouts find there is no reason to hang out at the bar without being able to shoot pool, and the boy entertains thoughts of forming a gang to steal more billiard balls in hopes of making money.

Two stories unfold over the same long, hot day in Acapulco. The first involves Fernanda, who is forced to deal with the emergence of her ex-lover. Her boyfriend must compete with the sexual tension they share. The second concerns Jamie, a worker attempting suicide, until a girl disrupts his plan.

Carlos is a young student, just 21. Nice or annoying as he likes, enjoys provoking and transgreding. In the night he goes out to meet his friends in the Kronen, a bar. Every situation can be taken a little farther. There are no limits, no accepted barriers. And more each time, each adventure is chained to the next, as if it were a continuous night. A long description of people: grandfather, parents, sister, girlfriend, friends. And, among that, the obscure will of living every minute as if it were the last one. But something which happens puts Carlos and his friend against a reality they have been trying to ignore.

A man living in a remote area of India has an affair with a local woman who he leaves in order to marry another. His lover commits suicide after cursing him and his family. Upon returning from London with his new wife he begins to experience strange hallucinations.
