Everything for the arts - and that's it! - with that in mind Inga Birgitta Spur dedicated her life preserving the artworks her late husband left behind. Now, having celebrated her 90th birthday, she still directs the Museum she founded over 35 years ago in Reykjavik, Iceland.

A film that begins where most crime novels end. Brian Bo, Bergur, Karsten and Jesper are all inmates in State Prison Vridsløselille. They have each had their own criminal careers, but they have in common singing in the prison choir. Meeting with the charismatic choir director Louise Adrian, "the bad boys with the soft voices" are inspired to write their own songs. They become Fangekoret. Through the lyrics, they tell about their destinies, innermost thoughts and dreams. Fangekoret is a breather in an otherwise harsh and closed world. Even after their release, most prisoners continue in the choir, bravely singing their personal stories at concerts across the country. The music shows new paths and awakens the desire to give up the criminal career, but it is a long and tough process.

Life used to be wonderful, exciting, and safe for twelve-year-old Nicklas. But now his parents have financial problems, and everyday life is full of alcohol, betrayal, and helplessness. A divorce threatens in the near future, but Nicklas has a small hope of being able to save the family and bring them back to the good old days.

Our protagonists, Albert and Dagur, go through a week in their lives, day by day. Throughout the week, they do things together and enjoy the week. Experiencing what life can be like if you go out and enjoy it with the people who mean the most to you, the two learn to appreciate the little things in life. What happens next is unknown, and can only be found in the potential sequal.

In a mixture between documentary and fiction, the film examines the diverse dimensions of collecting, exploring collections contained in private households and those in museums. In doing so, it highlights the intertwined relationship between people and things.
