Valley of the Dinosaurs is an animated television series from the Australian studios of Hanna-Barbera that ran for 16 half-hour installments on CBS Saturday Morning from September 7, 1974 to September 4, 1976. Reruns are currently airing on the Boomerang network.

The 1977 and 1978 episodes were originally broadcasted as segments on the package show Scooby's All-Star Laff-A-Lympics and Scooby's All-Stars. The 1980 episodes featured Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels in their own half-hour timeslot.

Joel, his cynical best friend, Nick, and easy-going little brother, Jamie, are contemporary cavemen who live in the suburban south and simply want to be treated like ordinary thirty-something guys. The American Museum of Natural History and The Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History served as consultants to the series.
