کلب (دامنال گلسون) برنامه نویس جوانی است که به تازگی در یک مسابقه برنده سفر یک هفته ای به منزل متخصص فرایند CEO به نام یعنی ناتان (اسکار آیزاک) شده است. کلب که به شدت از این اتفاق خوشحال است و این ملاقات را افتخاری برای خود و حرفه اش می داند، پس از رسیدن به ویلای ناتان متوجه می شود که برخلاف انتظارش، وی برای انجام آزمایشی به این ویلا آورده شده است. ناتان در این ویلا موفق به طراحی ربات زنی به نام آوا (آلیشیا ویکاندر) شده است که از هوش مصنوعی فوق العاده ای برخوردار است و کلب نیز باید با ربات ساخته ناتان ارتباط برقرار کند، اما...

غلاف تمام فلزی (به انگلیسی: Full Metal Jacket) فیلمی در ژانر جنگی ساختهٔ استنلی کوبریک در سال ۱۹۸۷ (میلادی) است. واحد جذب نیروی نیروی دریائی ایالات متحد، کارولینای جنوبی. گروهبان توپخانه، «هارتمن» (ارمی) گروهی داوطلب تازه کار را می‌پذیرد و برای آنان نام‌های جدید انتخاب می‌کند، مثلاً به یکی از آنان، «سرباز جوکر» (موداین) و دیگر «سرباز کابوی» (آرلیس هوارد) می‌گوید، و با خشونت و بددهنی به آنان می‌فهماند که باید هشت هفته آموزشی را به همین ترتیب سر کنند.

کوبریک این فیلم را بعد از تبعید خودخواسته به انگلستان، در سال 1971 می سازد. اما ساختار فیلم آنقدر بی پرده به بیان مفاهیم آن پرداخته بود، که ناگزیر مدتی فیلم توقیف بود(حدود 11 سال) تا شاید تمدن کمی جلوتر برود و مردم بزرگتر شوند و بتوانند چنین فیلمهایی را هم ببینند. نویسنده كتاب پرتقال كوكی (انتونی برگس) در زمان تالیف كتاب در مالزی زندگی میكرد. همسر او توسط چهار خلافكار امریكایی مضروب شده بود و این خود قسمتی از مضمون داستان او شد. در زبان مالزیایی كلمه "Orang" بمعنی مرد میباشد (همچنین این كلمه قسمتی از كلمه "Orangutan" كه نمیه دوم "Hutan" بمعنی جنگل می باشد بنابراین نام این فیلم بجای كلمه مسطلح clockwork fruit به جای clockwork man یا مرد كوكی نیز میباشد كه دقیقا آلكس در انتهای داستان به آن تبدیل میشود. نقد این فیلم كار اسانی نمیباشد. حتی بعد از نزدیک به چهل سال این فیلم هنوز به مشكلات جامعه اشاره میكند. تا به حال شاید هزاران صفحه مطلب در مورد این فیلم نوشته شده و واقعا توصیف این فیلم در چند جمله کار سختی است
