"اُ دای سو" مرد میان سالی است که در یک روز بارانی ربوده میشود و در مکانی به مدت ۱۵ سال زندانی میشود. پس از آزاد شدن تصمیم میگیرد که دلیل ربوده شدنش را کشف کند و از شخصی که این کار را کرده است انتقام بگیرد و... نام این فیلم در زبان فارسی به اشتباه "پیر پسر" و "پسر پیر" ترجمه شده که عنوان درست آن "رفیق قدیمی" و یا "همکلاسی قدیمی" است.
