One to One is an Irish television series which airs on RTÉ One. Since the first edition was broadcast at 12:15pm on 1 October 2006, the programme has featured personal interviews with a well-known figure from Ireland and abroad, one per episode. The second series moved to a Monday slot, beginning on 1 October 2007. A third series was broadcast during the summer months of June and July 2008. The fourth series commenced airing on 10 November 2008. Series presenters have included Aine Lawlor, Bryan Dobson, George Lee, Richard Crowley, Paul Cunningham, John Murray and Cathal Mac Coille. Guests to have featured in the series include Hans Blix, Michael Smurfit, Michael Colgan, Ben Dunne, clergymen Diarmuid Martin and Peter Sutherland, Ulick McEvaddy, T. K. Whitaker, Seymour Hersh, Alan Johnston, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Seán FitzPatrick, Roy Foster, Samantha Power, Declan Ganley and Jeffrey Sachs. Each edition is typically approximately forty minutes length in total, with all the interviews available to watch online at RTÉ.ie.

The series follows five mothers, of differing professional backgrounds, as they make their return to the workforce after several years spent at home rearing their children. The five are employed by the publishing house, Ashville Media, with their mission being to compile a glossy magazine aimed at working women. The five have twelve weeks to complete their task. The series was filmed between October 2008 and January 2009. It is a creation of Vision Independent Productions.

The programme is filmed from inside the European Parliament buildings and usually features a panel of guests discussing the recent proceedings in parliament. Marry Me is an Irish television series broadcast on RTÉ One on Sunday evenings at 20:30. A creation of Midas Productions and presented by Pamela Flood, each week she assists in turning an individual's dream marriage proposal, be it in a public or an intimate location, into reality, without the knowledge of their partner. The first series began filming in November 2007 broadcast in 2008 contained eight episodes. Viewing figures for the second edition were 450,000, placing 12th in the national television viewership figures of that week. A second series is in the making.

Boom! Boom! The Explosion of Irish Comedy was a four-part Irish television programme broadcast on RTÉ One in 2008. Presented by Colm Meaney it focused on the positive changes that occurred in Irish comedy during the Celtic Tiger years. It combined rare and memorable performances from the archives with contemporary interviews with the featured comedians to explain how this transformation came about and who the people responsible for it were. Boom! Boom! was broadcast on Thursdays at 22:15, beginning on 10 July 2008. The series was filmed from May through early July 2008 around various Dublin locations including the Comedy Cellar, the Gaiety Theatre and Vicar Street. The series was directed by Cormac Larkin. Producer Catherine Munro told IFTN that the series was a review of the last 25 years in Irish comedy. "We interviewed comedians including Kevin Gildea, Ann Gildea and Sue Collins from "The Nualas", actor Michael McElhatton, Brendan O'Carroll, PJ Gallagher and new talent Jarlath Regan. We also talked to Father Ted writer Arthur Mathews and producer Shay Healy, who both contributed to Irish comedy's success."

Guerrilla Gourmet is an Irish television series broadcast on RTÉ One. The series features professional chefs from various backgrounds, such as Dylan McGrath and Kevin Dundon, who each take on a new challenge. Each episode sees a different chef try to construct a temporary "guerrilla restaurant" out of nothing, taking on the task of locating a premises, composing a menu, cooking the food to serve to the customers and finding the actual customers themselves. The six-part series began broadcasting on 11 February 2008 at 20:30. Locations featured include Blackrock College, the Royal Hospital Kilmainham and the Rock of Cashel.

Premier Soccer Saturday was formally the principal weekly club association football programme on RTÉ. In June 2013 RTÉ Sport confirmed that due to cost cutting initiative's to save the station up to €1.3m a year, it will no longer have the Irish rights to television coverage of the Premier League, with the 2012-13 Premier League season being the final season shown on RTÉ Sport. It was broadcast on RTÉ Two every Saturday evening between 19:30 and 21:00 and occasionally on Sunday during the English league soccer season, showing highlights of Premier League football matches. When the show was aired on a day other than Saturday, it used the appropriately customised title. The programme only showed English association football, as Monday Night Soccer covers Irish association football. The most recent theme tune for the show was a cover of the Republica song, "Bloke".
