Dough Re Mi was an American game show that aired on NBC from February 24, 1958 to December 30, 1960. The series was hosted by Gene Rayburn and was somewhat of an answer to CBS' Name That Tune, which began in 1953. Among those who substituted for Rayburn during the run were Jack Barry, announcer Roger Tuttle, Dayton Allen, Keefe Brasselle, and Fred Robbins.
Your First Impression is a NBC daytime game show which aired from January 2, 1962, to June 26, 1964. A panel of three celebrities tried to guess the identity of mystery guests from clues supplied by the host. Bill Leyden was the MC of the program, with Dennis James as a regular panelist or alternating host. Filmed in Burbank, California, Your First Impression was a Monty Hall-Art Stark Production. Hall was the series executive producer. The program aired at Noon Eastern time and followed another quiz program, Concentration, then hosted by Hugh Downs. Celebrities who appeared on the series included Pat Carroll, Bob Crane, Nina Foch, Ross Martin, Dean Miller, Leslie Nielsen, Inger Stevens, Elena Verdugo, Betty White, and Paul Winchell. Joan Crawford was a mystery guest. Richard Nixon appeared as a mystery guest after his losses to John F. Kennedy for President and Edmund G. Brown for governor of California. He got a laugh when he was asked to fill in the blank: "I wish that I __________," and he answered, "had been a PT-boat captain."

Gambit is an American television game show based on the card game blackjack, created by Wayne Cruseturner and produced by Heatter-Quigley Productions. The show originally ran on CBS from September 4, 1972 to December 10, 1976. A slightly retooled version, Las Vegas Gambit, aired on NBC from October 27, 1980 to November 27, 1981, originating from the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The 1972–1976 version changed taping locations at CBS Television City, taping episodes in Studios 31, 33, 41 and 43 at various times. Both versions were hosted by Wink Martindale and announced by Kenny Williams. Elaine Stewart was the card dealer for the CBS version, while Beverly Malden filled this role for the first half of Las Vegas Gambit, and was later replaced by Lee Menning. The program was retooled as Catch 21, which began airing on GSN in 2008.
Television Playhouse is an American anthology series that was broadcast live on NBC. The series aired from December 4, 1947 to April 11, 1948. The program was in cooperation with the National Theater and Academy, a federally sponsored theater group, and featured live performances of plays, some of which were by well-known authors. The first presentation was The Last of My Solid Gold Watchers by Tennessee Williams. Each episode was 30 minutes long, and featured actors and actresses who had not reached stardom. A wide variety of plays was presented on the program. Although short-lived, the "live play" format later became very popular during the early 1950s.

50 Grand Slam is a game show from Ralph Andrews Productions that aired on NBC from October 4 to December 31, 1976. Tom Kennedy hosted the show, with John Harlan as the announcer. It premiered and ended on the same day as the show that preceded it on the NBC schedule, Stumpers!, which was hosted by Allen Ludden, who appeared at the beginning of the premiere to wish Kennedy luck. Name That Tune, also hosted by Kennedy, took over the time slot previously occupied by 50 Grand Slam on NBC the following Monday.
Kukla, Fran and Ollie is an early American television show using puppets, originally created for children but soon watched by more adults than children. It did not have a script and was entirely ad-libbed. It aired from 1947 to 1957.
Wrangler is an American Western television series starring Jason Evers that aired on the NBC television network from August 4 to September 15, 1960. In Wrangler, Evers played Pitcairn, a wrangler who roamed the Old West, finding adventures along the way. However, Wrangler did not have much of a chance to find adventure because the series lasted only for six episodes. It was a summer replacement series for The Ford Show Starring Tennessee Ernie Ford, but did not garner high enough ratings to become a full-fledged series. Guest stars included Tyler McVey in the episode "Incident at the Bar M". Three years after Wrangler, Evers landed the lead in the 26-episode ABC drama Channing set on a fictitious college campus.

The format centers on unusual sports competitions, including a belly flop contest and a taxicab demolition derby. Sylvester Stallone discovered Mr. T, whom he subsequently cast as Clubber Lang, when Mr. T won a "World's Toughest Bouncer" competition on the show. The title of the show is a play on the title of Games People Play, a popular psychology book from the 1960s about mind games and interactions within relationships.

With a dismal 1.0 rating/3 share among adults 18-49, NBC announced its immediate cancellation on August 6, 2013, with two episodes remaining.
