Drawing Houses consists of two parts. In each part performers make drawings of houses. The first part is filmed at a high angle looking down at a floor. The scene opens with a close-up of the back of a Hawaii-an shirt. The Hawaiian shirt wearer moves out and a performer enters and begins to draw on the floor. A drawing of a house is made on the floor. The drawing is made so that it appears to be on the plane of the projected image and not on the receding floor plane. In the second part of the film the camera is placed so that the scene is viewed straight on. This scene opens with a black line grid on the screen. A large facial profile appears when the perfomer removes some paper that covers it. He draws in the facial details. The performer then draws a line drawing of a house. This drawing looks similiar to the one from the earlier scene. Another house is drawn in the background. However parts of each house are drawn on different planes.

A simple and honest Master Sadashiv Deshmukh is transferred to Tegwadi village.He soon runs into trouble when he punishes the son of village head.Sadashiv befriends a village beauty Nakubala.But Sadashiv's trouble doesn't end here when a dance troupe enters the village.The village head empties his house to impress the dancer so that the dance troupe can live in it. Sadashiv goes in an abandoned house where he meets the ghost of Maratha solider Kandoji Pradhan who was cursed for separating two lovers and cant attain salvation.Sadashiv at first is scared but be friends the ghost.Kandoji realizes that by helping Sadashiv he will be free from the curse and also plays a big part to make Sadashiv and Nakubala to fall in love.

Its production seems like a game: throwing a Super 8 camera, turned on and recording, from what was, at that time, the tallest building in Caracas. The film films the shots of its own accelerated fall, a succession of chromatic shots that cannot be identified either in terms of what is “recorded” in each one (windows, columns, walls, sky or floor) or in its own formal configuration as an image (color, composition, shapes or figures). What is perceived and apprehended is the impotence of vision – of perception – to distinguish this extreme and exhausting mobility, this vertigo of “free fall.”
