Nainen suostuttelee pienen walesilaisen kotikaupunkinsa auttamaan häntä kilpahevosen kasvattamisessa. Heidän pitää tehdä mahdottomasta mahdollista voittaakseen eliittitasolla.

Floridassa asuva nuori Jake on pienestä pitäen uskonut isoisänsä tarinoihin Walesissa sijaitsevasta orpokodista, jossa asuvilla lapsilla on salaperäisiä voimia. Ukkinsa kuoleman jälkeen Jake päättää etsiä kyseisen orpokodin ja matkustaa Englantiin. Hän löytääkin tarinan pikkukylän, se vain sijaitsee aikasilmukassa. Erikoislaatuisilla voimilla varustetut lapset elävätkin yhä uudelleen samaa päivää vuodelta 1943. Kyseisessä aikasilmukassa he ovat turvassa muulta maailmalta ja ennen kaikkea omiaan vastaan kääntyneiltä eriskummallisilta. Jaken saapuminen tietysti ravistelee lasten vakiintunutta yhteisöä ja tietysti asettaa heidät vaaraan, kun pahat eriskummalliset käyttävät poikaa hyväkseen kätketyt lapset löytääkseen. Heidän on löydettävä voimiensa lisäksi älynsä, rohkeutensa ja muutkin sisäiset voimavaransa pelastaakseen itsensä ja aikuiset suojelijansa.

Educating … is a British documentary television programme produced by Twofour for Channel 4 that has run since 2011. It uses a fly on the wall format to show the everyday lives of the staff and students of various secondary schools around the UK; interspersed with interviews of those involved and featuring narration from the director and interviewer, David Clews. Filmed on location at schools in Harlow, Dewsbury, Walthamstow, Cardiff and Salford respectively, there have been seven series to date: Educating Essex (2011), Educating Yorkshire (2013), Educating the East End (2014), Educating Cardiff (2015), Educating Greater Manchester 1 & 2 (2017 and 2020) and Educating Yorkshire 2 (2025).

The District Nurse is a British television series, produced by BBC Wales and shown on BBC One between 1984 and 1987. The series was a period drama created by Julia Smith and Tony Holland and starred Nerys Hughes as Megan Roberts, the titular district nurse fighting to improve living conditions for the people living in a poverty stricken mining town, Pencwm, in south Wales during the late 1920s. The School scenes were filmed at Pont-y-gof school in Ebbw Vale, shortly before the old school was demolished. The children and teachers at the school were involved in the first two series. The outdoor school and street scenes were filmed at a small village near Tredegar. Most of the houses used have now been demolished, however the street still remains. In the third series, shown in 1987 and set in the early 1930s, Megan had moved on to the seaside town of Glanmor where she worked with a father/son pair of doctors - Emlyn Isaacs and James Isaacs.

Fun at the Funeral Parlour was a comedy series broadcast on BBC Choice for two series in 2001 and 2002. It was set in a Welsh funeral directors called "Thomas, Thomas, Thomas and Thomas". The series was written by Rhys Thomas, who also starred alongside William Thomas, Alex Lowe and Tony Way. Thomas created the show at the age of 20, after contributing to The Fast Show.
