Selvittyään katastrofaalisista sokkotreffeistään, Jim ja Lauren päättävät, etteivät tahdo enää ikinä olla tekemisissä keskenään. Eronneella Laurenilla on kädet täynnä oman firman ja kahden kouluikäisen pojan kaitsemisessa. Leskeksi jäänyt Jim puolestaan yrittää työnsä ohella kasvattaa kolmea tyttöä pukien nämä työpaikkaetuna haalittuihin urheiluasuihin. Kun Jimin ja Laurenin yhteinen tuttava joutuu perumaan Afrikan matkan, nämä yksinhuoltajat lapsineen päätyvät toisistaan tietämättä Etelä-Afrikkaan, uusioperheille tarkoitetulle ryhmälomalle. Unelmien perheloman sijaan perheet joutuvat jakamaan yleellisen sviitin ja ovat jumissa toistensa seurassa viikon ajan. Perheiden sekoittuessa keskenään, Jim ja Lauren huomaavat, etteivät kaikki ole aina sitä, miltä he ovat ensisilmäyksellä saattaneet vaikuttaa. Elspeth and her unconventional parents decide to settle down in Kenya and begin a coffee plantation. The documentary explores the lives of these extraordinary animals, and the work of those who care for them, as well as the amazing, and at times hilarious, dashcam footage of visitors to Knowsley.
