Déterminée à se battre pour recouvrer sa liberté, elle pousse quatre autres jeunes filles — Rocket la grande gueule, Blondie la débrouillarde, Amber la fidèle des fidèles et Sweet Pea toujours hésitante — à se regrouper pour tenter d'échapper à leur destin terrifiant, à la merci de leurs geôliers, Blue, Madame Gorski et le High Roller. Entraînées par Babydoll, les filles engagent une bataille fantastique contre l’univers fantastique, des samouraïs aux serpents, avec un arsenal virtuel à leur disposition. Ensemble, elles doivent décider de ce qu’elles sont prêtes à sacrifier pour rester en vie. Mais, avec l’aide d’un Sage, leur incroyable voyage — s’il réussit — les conduira à la liberté.

Kyoto, au XIe siècle. Sous le portique d'un vieux temple en ruines, Rashômon, trois hommes s'abritent de la pluie. Les guerres et les famines font rage. Pourtant un jeune moine et un vieux bûcheron sont plus terrifiés encore par le procès auquel ils viennent d'assister. Ils sont si troublés qu'ils vont obliger le troisième voyageur à écouter le récit de ce procès : celui d'un célèbre bandit accusé d'avoir violé une jeune femme et tué son mari, un samouraï. Le drame a eu lieu dans la forêt à l'orée de laquelle est situé le portique de Rashômon. L'histoire est simple : Qui a tué le mari ? Le bandit Tajomaru, la femme, un bûcheron qui passait ou le mari lui-même qui se serait suicidé ? Autant d'hypothèses vraisemblables. Mais les dépositions des témoins devant le tribunal apportent à chaque fois une version différente du drame, et la vérité ne percera qu'après de nouvelles révélations surprenantes...

Hank est un chien enjoué qui rêve d’être samouraï dans un monde où ce privilège n’est réservé… qu’aux chats ! Moqué, refusé par toutes les écoles de samouraïs, il rencontre un gros matou grincheux, un maître guerrier qui finit par accepter de lui enseigner les techniques ancestrales des samouraïs. L’apprentissage va être rude pour le jeune chien remuant et dissipé : il faut apprendre à manier le sabre, devenir agile comme un chat, maîtriser les arts martiaux, et Hank n’est pas très doué. Mais pour devenir samouraï, Hank se donne… un mal de chien ! Quand l’armée de chats du Shogun déferle sur la ville, le courage et l’astuce de l’apprenti samouraï vont enfin s’avérer utiles : « chat va barder, il va leur mettre la pâtée » !

Frappé d'immortalité, Manji la fine lame accepte de devenir le garde du corps d'une jeune fille et promet de venger sa famille assassinée.

Au XVIe siècle, au Japon, des paysans décident d'embaucher des samouraïs pour protéger leur village, et en trouvent sept. Ces hommes organisent la défense du village contre quarante brigands.

Ce film est adapté d'un jeu Internet du même titre. L'histoire se déroule à la fin de la turbulente dynastie Han orientale. L'ambitieux Dong Zhuo contrôle la cour et la population, et des héros de tout le pays commencent à se manifester.

Hanzo emprisonne la Mère supérieure et lui fait subir le fameux « supplice du filet ». Celle-ci passe vite aux aveux : un haut dignitaire du château d’Edo (Tokyo) est l’instigateur de ce trafic. Hanzo va alors mener l’enquête, contre l’avis de sa hiérarchie…

Le 21 octobre 1600, la bataille de Sekigahara marque la fin de l'ère Sengoku. Elle a lieu entre l'armée occidentale, dirigée par Mitsunari Ishida, et l'armée de l'Est, menée par Ieyasu Tokugawa. Ce dernier tente avec avidité de garder la main sur la nation. Bien que plus nombreuse, l'armée de l'Ouest subit des pertes sur le champ de bataille. Hatsume a été envoyée pour espionner Mitsunari Ishida mais tombe amoureuse de lui.

Débute alors une émouvante histoire d'amitié entre deux individus ayant connu de nombreuses tragédies dans leurs vies personnelles : un samouraï sans maître et sans nom qui a juré de ne jamais retoucher à un sabre, et un jeune garçon qui a perdu ses parents.

It was Nobunaga’s subordinates that killed those body doubles, and Nobunaga himself proceeds to kill the real Imagawa with a shotgun blast to the head.
