Jednoga dana, Man-seob načuje kako neki stranac nudi veliki novac za prijevoz do grada Gwangjuja i natrag za veliki novac. Ne znajući kako je stranac njemački novinar (Thomas Kretschmann) sa skrivenom namjerom da istraži neobične glasine o Gwangjuja, Man-seob prihvati posao i njih dvojica kreću na zajedničko putovanje.

Grupa vozača kamiona prolazi Arizonom i međusobno komuniciraju radio-stanicama. Kad im se u frekvenciju ubaci lokalni šerif Lyle "Cottonmouth" Wallace (Ernest Borgnine), počne im se rugati i smjesti im klopku na koju nasjedne vozač Rubber Duck (Kris Kristofferson). Kad ostali vozači čuju što mu se dogodilo, odluče se za prosvjed, krenu u Novi Meksiko i putem "skupljaju" nove vozače kamiona zbog čega se stvara sve veća kolona.

Pristao je i pokrenuo nenasilnu kampanju nevjerojatnih razmjera, koordinirajući milijune Indijaca diljem zemlje.
