In this instance Hank and Lank step into good fortune quite by accident. A printer, drinking excessively and neglectful of his family obligations, is fired from his job when he offends his wealthy employer and his employer’s guests as they tour the printworks. Seeking revenge, the dismissed employee enters his former employer’s house with the intention of shooting him. There he sees the employer and his severely disabled daughter, and recognizes the strong emotional bond between father and daughter. This convincing demonstration of affection brings the printer to his senses. He asks pardon, is reinstated in his old job, and becomes a model worker, husband, and father.

The film is based on the true story of the Danish-Norwegian sea hero Peter Wessel Tordenskiold’s exploits during the Great Northern War of 1709 to 1720. The action is composed of a number of significant events, such as the departure with the frigate Løvendals Galej in 1912, the Battle of Colberghejde in 1715, Tordenskiold’s elevation to nobility in 1916 and his death in 1920. The film was found on four reels in a collection from the local history archive in Aalborg. They were registered as four separate films, but both the style of the intertitles and the actors indicate that the reels belong together. This great Lord goes for a stroll through his estate and coming to the border of his own land he is struck by the entrancing beauty of the contiguous estate, so like his own, that the inclination to intrude is irresistible. His peregrination is halted by the appearance of the great Lady, who is indeed as fair as the flowers that clothe her land. He introduces himself and invites her to stroll with him in his gardens. She is in like manner entranced by the beauty of his possessions. How alike in beauty are they; a veritable fairyland. If they were only one, for it seems they should be. This thought is mutual, and the Lord proposes a way, a marriage, and so a betrothal of convenience ensues. They know nothing of love and so are content in the anticipation of being Lord and Lady of all Never-Never Land.
Mr. Josh Banks a ranchman, receives word that his niece, a pretty Chicago girl of eighteen, is on her way to make them a visit. The news immediately electrifies things down in the cowpunchers' bunkhouse, and all the boys begin sprucing up to he presented to the fair one. The hero continues to represent himself as a laborer in order to see the maid. The daughter, in order to continue her impersonation, borrows the maid's clothes. At the end the two main characters are brought together in their true light with the blessing of their respective mothers.
