Myndin gerist í hinum dulúðlegu skosku hálöndum, þar sem Merida er prinsessa í konungsríki sem stjórnað er af Fergus kóngi, og Elinor drottningu. Merida er óstýrilát dóttir, og góður bogmaður. Einn daginn ákveður hún að bjóða helgum venjum konungsríkisins birginn og veldur með því titringi í konungsríkinu. Til að koma hlutum í samt lag aftur, þá leitar Merida hjálpar hjá sérviturri gamalli konu og fær hjá henni eina óheilla - ósk.

Sönn saga Hughs Glass sem skilinn var eftir í óbyggðum nær dauða en lífi árið 1823 eftir árás bjarnar. En Hugh lifði af og gríðarlega illa særður eftir björninn, fótbrotinn, vopnlaus og matarlaus náði hann samt sem áður að komast um 320 kílómetra leið að byggðu bóli, staðráðinn í að hefna sín á mönnunum sem skildu hann eftir.

Myndin segir í stuttu máli frá ungum inúítadreng sem verður birni að bana í hefndarskyni eftir að björninn hafði drepið bróður hans. En þá gerast þau undur að inúítadrengurinn breytist sjálfur í björn og þarf nú að glíma við lífið frá allt öðru sjónarhorni en áður.

Paddington er ungur björn frá Perú sem hefur dálæti á Bretlandi. Hann ákveður að fara til Lundúna til að leita sér að nýju heimili, en hann áttar sig fljótlega á því að stórborgarlífið er ekki eins og hann ímyndaði sér. Hann kynnist góðhjartaðri fjölskyldu á Paddington-lestarstöðinni sem býður honum tímabundið athvarf. Svo virðist sem að gæfan hafi snúist honum í hag, allt þangað til að þessi sjaldgæfi björn fangar athygli uppstoppara sem vinnur á safni...

Paddington snýr aftur til Perú til að heimsækja sína ástkæru frænku Lucy, sem býr á dvalarheimili fyrir eldri birni. Með Brown fjölskylduna í eftirdragi þá hefst fljótlega æsispennandi ævintýri þegar ráðgáta sendir þau í óvænta ferð inn í Amazon regnskóginn og upp snarbrött fjöllin í Perú.

Björn bróðir 2 (enska: Brother Bear 2) er bandarísk Disney-kvikmynd frá árinu 2006 sem er framhaldsmynd kvikmyndarinnar Björn bróðir. Myndin var aðeins dreift á mynddiski.

Grizzly björninn Boog varð munaðarlaus í æsku og var alinn upp sem gæludýr þjóðgarðsvarðarins Beth, í bílskúrnum hennar, en vörðurinn vill að hann snúi aftur til náttúrulegra heimkynna sinna einn daginn. Veiðimaðurinn og óþokkinn Shaw hlakkar til að veiðitímabilið hefjist til að hann geti skotið bjarndýr, en í millitíðinni keyrir hann fyrir "misgáning" yfir villt dádýr, Elliot, sem missti eitt hornið þegar það var rekið úr hjörðinni. Elliot fær Boog til að hjálpa sér að sleppa úr klóm Shaw og býður sjálfum sér að flytja inn til Boog í framhaldinu. Elliot ákveður að launa Boog greiðann og hjálpa honum að komast heim á ný, ef hann lofar honum að búa hjá sér til frambúðar, en þetta ferðalag þeirra á eftir að hafa hrikalegar afleiðingar í för með sér þegar Boog rústar bjórastíflunni, og Show er á hælunum á þeim.

Móglí finnst hann ekki passa inn á nýja heimilinu, þó að vinur hans Shanti reyni hvað hann geri sem og litli bróðir hans. Þegar Baloo kemur í heimsókn, þá grípur Móglí tækifærið til að snúa aftur í skóginn. En Shanti heldur að búið sé að nema hann á brott, og fer og eltir hann. Shera Kan er ekki langt undan og Móglí þarf að passa sig og þá sem honum þykir vænt um. Þessi nýju ævintýri fá hann til að endurhugsa hvað það er sem hann langar að gera - rólegheit og fjör með Baloo í skóginum, eða einfaldari tilveru í þorpinu með Shanti.

Leiðin að altarinu, verður ekki alveg bein og greið fyrir Elliot, eftir að hann verður ástfanginn af Giselle, þegar Mr. Weenie er rænt af hópi gæludýra, sem vilja skila honum aftur til eigenda sinna.

Three brother bears awkwardly attempt to find their place in civilized society, whether they're looking for food, trying to make human friends, or scheming to become famous on the internet.
