Mjallhvít er ofsótt af afbrýðisamri stjúpmóður sinni, drottningunni, og leitar skjóls úti í skógi hjá sjö dvergum. Drottningin gefur Mjallhvíti eitrað epli, en prinsinn finnur hana og vekur hana af dvala með kossi.

Buddy var á munaðarleysingjahæli sem barn en stalst í burtu í poka jólasveinsins og endaði á norðurpólnum. Seinna, þegar hann er orðinn fullvaxinn maður, sem óvart var alinn upp af álfum, þá leyfir jólasveinninn honum að koma með sér til New York til að finna föður sinn, Walter Hobbs. Set in a different Tokyo on a different world than ours, the story follows Tokunana, a unit of assembled misfits in the Metropolitan Police Department. Tokunana battles against "Nine" — an organization commiting crimes in their zealous worship of the dragons that once roamed the world.

When a dragon fails to live up to the fearsome standards set for him, his family kicks him out. He embarks on a quest to find a new home but soon finds that life on the road is no place for a cowardly beast of legend. In a fantasy world full of elves, dwarves, and other mythical creatures, the frustrations of house-hunting reach a whole new level.
